Love how

is arguing that Poch made us cope better without Kane than Jose ever could by adjusting and using Son differently. Great stuff.

Poch did exactly that.Love howsammyspurs is arguing that Poch made us cope better without Kane than Jose ever could by adjusting and using Son differently. Great stuff.
Integrity beyond reproachPoch did exactly that.
Why would pretend he didn’t?
I give credit where it’s due and critique where it’s due. Whether it’s Kane, Jose or Nkoudou makes no difference
People try to pin agendas on me.Integrity beyond reproach
If Shaw scored 30 pens the season we had prime Bale would you say he had a better left foot than Bale?People try to pin agendas on me.
I don’t have any.
If someone plays well, they play well, if they play shit they play shit.
It’s a simple game
Not necessarily, depends what both showed over the season I guessIf Shaw scored 30 pens the season we had prime Bale would you say he had a better left foot than Bale?
The season played out exactly as it did except Shaw was on pens and scored 30.Not necessarily, depends what both showed over the season I guess
It would have zero to do with BaleThe season played out exactly as it did except Shaw was on pens and scored 30.
How about if rating them as goal scorers that season? Shaw>Bale? It would have zero to do with Bale
I wouldn’t really compare a LB that scored 30 penalties with a forward that played 250 minutesHow about if rating them as goal scorers that season? Shaw>Bale?
Relax broI wouldn’t really compare a LB that scored 30 penalties with a forward that played 250 minutes
What’s this got to do with Poch getting the best out of Son when Kane was out?
So we can talk about Kane again yeah?Relax bro
You're like a cautious impala sipping from a murky river half expecting a croc to snatch it in its jaws.
We can.So we can talk about Kane again yeah?
Different reasons, depends on that specific moment and player.... sometimes there’s no time, sometimes they are too eager etcWe can.
Why do you think players snatch at chances sometimes?
Can you see why players who have less chances tend to snatch more than players who have more shots?Different reasons, depends on that specific moment and player.... sometimes there’s no time, sometimes they are too eager etc
Not really because it depends on the chance. Can you see why players who have less chances tend to snatch more than players who have more shots?
If there were stats that showed that all players have a lower conversion rate when they have less chances would it make you change your mind? Not really because it depends on the chance.
No need to snatch if you have time regardless of getting less attempts overall.
If you get less chances, you need to improve your shot conversion and adapt.
The only real story it tells is that a player who has a higher conversion rate, would do better with less chances.
Not really, for example Kane still has a 17% conversion rate if we created 26 shots or 9 shots in a game. That Leicester game I talked about we had 26 shots......I think that should be enough to work with up top over 90 minutesIf there were stats that showed that all players have a lower conversion rate when they have less chances would it make you change your mind?
Again that’s not the case for all players, and taking Kane again, he’s touched the ball a lot while helping the defence and midfield, so is fully involved in our matches.f you barely get a touch all game and you finally have a shot it's going to be rushed or with panic whereas if you get half a dozen chances there's less pressure as you know you'll get more chances. Not to mention you're more dialled in to the game. Is this an outrageous statement?
Harry's eyeing PL records. I don't think he'd be going abroad if he left...I love him. But if we got a progressive manager like nagelsman I would think selling to rebuild the squad wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. But overseas obviously
