Kane could earn double what he gets now and win trophies in the process, solidifying his legacy and ending his career with as much money as possible. Why would he care about random “supporters”. Only family matters. Thats the reality of the situation. It makes me laugh when strangers think another grown ass man owes them loyalty, like youve already forgotten the past 8 years of world class footballing ability.

fans make me laugh. Act like if a better job down the road comes up and offers to double their salary and be with an award winning company they wouldnt take it a heartbeat because some random strangers you dont even know demand you be loyal to them.

kane has given his all to spurs and didnt complain once when he could have left years ago.

kane doesnt have the time to sit through another “project” with another manager who is going to have ups and downs figuring out his style. Kanes been there done that. Even when we was successful, the owners refused to push on and show ambition, so what will change with a new manager?
I don't expect Kane to be loyal, Il happily sell him for what's he's worth. His actions since the end of last season with the interview and now not turning up for training are simply wrong, like it or lump it. You clearly think he is justified in what's he's doing, fair play to you, I don't.

He gets paid to do a job, he doesn't get paid for gratitude, skipping training was the wrong move, the public interview was the wrong move.
It's almost like he's got some dickhead managing his affairs instead of somebody who actually has a clue about what their doing...

Set the team up to not play with Kane up top. Despite what Mourinho thought, it’s possible to play football without Kane. Many clubs have managed.

Sucks for Nuno but he’s a pro and will do his job.
Well we did it reaching the CL final

Honestly you are in cloud cuckoo land. Kane won’t want to sit in the reserves for 3 years - he will be 31 when he comes out of contract.

my Point is we don’t do deals with terrorists and right now Kane is a terrorist. Do to him wha5 we did to Danby Rose. Kane’s ego won’t allow that.
Kane is a terrorist? Hahahaha . Oooh hes terrorising you is he.

The best thing for our club is to sell Kane and appropriately reinvest.

Selling good or great players doesn’t have to be a negative. Liverpool selling Coutinho was really the start of their ascent up the league, it worked out brilliantly.

I’m a huge Laporte fan. If we can partner him with Romero we will have the foundation of an excellent team ready for a new cycle.

Laporte, Bernardo and 80m would do me just fine.

Kane is an outrageously good player, but he does present stylistic issues in his current form. He doesn’t have the legs for a press, doesn’t work the channels and for my liking, operates a little too much outside the box.

He is still in the best 2 CF’s in the world, but I think we can use the money and players City offer to significantly improve our team, in spite of Kane leaving.

The key component here is time. It’s within our interests to get this deal done quickly, and allow Paratici the time he needs to re-design the side. No shotgun approach like we had with the Bale money.

I’m probably in the minority, but if I had confidence in the clubs transfer strategy, selling Kane would excite me.
I wouldn't have an issue with this proposed package, but all indications are that City have come nowhere near offering such an attractive offer. It's been £100m or players + money = £100m.

So City would probably say Laporte + Silva = Kane based on their valuations, which isn't going to cut it. And that's assuming both players want to come.

The issue here is that City have no intention of paying £150m+ in money and/or players and Spurs aren't going to sell Kane at a lower fee with three years on his contract.

It's depressing how things tailed off so horribly in a couple of years. Wish more and more that we just stayed at the old ground because 2016/17 when we were young, vibrant, exciting and so enjoyable to look forward to watching should have been the start of something special but instead it was the peak.

The fiasco of the stadium move, the soulless experience of playing at Wembley, no new signings for 18 months, contract disputes, Poch's disillusionment and losing the dressing room, Mourinho destroying the fun of watching football, the farce around appointing the new manager and now 'one of our own' throwing the toys out of the pram. How did it get so bad?

Hold on wait, you didn't hear?

The Cult of Levy considers all these things "the progress".

But at that time he felt he had a 'gentleman's agreement' to leave the next year,so he gave his all as he had hopes to get his transfer . Now if he is unhappy and theres no agreements anymore to look forward to, its very unlikely he will have a very good season with us.

I said earlier.... Funny despite all the leaks that no-one's been prepared to state what this so-called agreement amounted to..... It's become increasingly tiresome hearing about it tbh.

Then again, prior to the last couple of days some here would have you believe H wanted out as far back as the CL final.

Ultimately he'll knuckle down and get on with it if he remains; I have next to no doubt about that.

Surely the price is £200 million? He is worth that to us. It will definitely be over £160 million because of that Sun article the other week.

He's only returning to training for one of two reasons. 1. He has seen the backlash from fans, ex players and the media and is scared it has hurt him or 2. Man City have put in another bid closer to what we want.

As to which is the truth, we have to make up our minds as to what is more realistic, 1 or 2?

I reckon it is bollocks and there isn't one. What probably happened is Levy said he could go if Man City matched our valuation. Him and his dip shit brother probably took that to mean he could leave if City bid for him. They have but it was a laughable amount for a player like Kane.

Kane realized he bottled his little fit so bad that it made fans like Levy more now he’s trying to backtrack. Makes him look even more like a loser.

If you fuck up so bad that Levy looks like the reasonable one then you need better advisors.
Went from likely getting a move to likely not.

Ya, seems like a bad play.

Can’t see it happening but I’d love it if they made him play vs the goons on Sunday! Let us fans let him know what we think of him
