Kane obviously wants to beat Shearer's all time record. But Shearer also holds the record for goals in a calendar year: 36 (Blackburn Rovers; 1995). Kane is on 18 at the moment so he could be set up nicely to beat the record this year. Especially if he gets a couple more tomorrow to get a head start on next season.
