Disagree whole-friggin-heartedly. None of them were a match for old man Llorente even then. And to this day Liverpool still can't handle the long ball. In fact didn't they just lose a couple weeks ago to it? And this analysis doesn't take into consideration the second ball AND the fact that it denies Liverpool's press which is their number 1 creative tactic.
Last year Aston Villa absolutely abused liverpool with the tactic by not always aiming it directly in the center but right in the gaps behind robertson and TAA. They are absolutely vulnerable to this tactic and would have been in the final as well. In fact we hammered them with it at Wembley (though that was Lovren...but didn't he start the CL final?).
And I say this as someone that was calling for this exact setup for the final because Klopp's tactics have always been vulnerable to it and he is a plan A manager. He would have never expected it, been exposed, and cried after the game that our best player was the GK like he did a few weeks ago. He's a c*nt!!!!!
