Jamie O'Hara may be so thick he can hardly string a sentence together, but even he made a valid point. Get Poch in now, give him a few months to check out the squad before the window opens.

Asked for money to spend last summer...done. Needed a new right back - done. Levy has given him every thing he wanted. Just riddled with excuses to cover his arse. Time to get rid.

Not really sure about that. He wanted Bastoni, Bremer etc and we gave him Lenglet, Dier, Davies and Sanchez as the backline.

End of the day he is an elite manager but an elite manager who has only ever really worked with elite players. Working with us means working with mediocrity in many places.

It’s why this marriage was doomed from the start. Managers that have very specific systems with specific requirement and top players don’t work with us. It’s why Pep would be a disaster here and Tuchel wouldn’t work.

We need a manager that fits the club and that means fits ENIC until they sell and fuck off. In short a manager who plays attacking football, works and builds up cheaper younger players.

Leaves us just Poch, Gallardo, Kompany type managers. If the club can’t recognise what is staring them in the face as to who they are then we are fucked.

He accepted Lenglet after the club couldn't get Bastoni or Gvardiol in fact we wasted time going for them when it was clear they weren't going to come. He said also said Dier can be one of the best CB's in the Prem previously as well so by all means he was happy to work with them.

Sometimes managers don't get their first choices big deal, it's not a exclusive thing for our club

And this revisionism about Conte needs to stop, people are talking about him like he's Jose, in the past he's managed to take maximise the potential of the players he's had at his disposal - look at Chelsea's back line when they won the league, look at some of the crap he had at Inter, look at the Italian NT when he managed them.

The argument shouldn't really about what he did or didn't get with the money we spent on him anyway, it's whether he's getting the absolute maximum from the team given the resources at his disposal and the resounding answer is no.

Spot on.

Can anyone really tell us these players are playing at their best?

Even the players that constantly get shit on here are playing worse than they ever have done.

We get the odd game to show how good we could be and that's why it's frustrating.

It's on Conte 100%.

He isn’t a compromise manager. That Chelsea team was far far better than ours. He has his system and that is it, he needs ball playing CB’s and top draw elite midfielders. He has succeed time and time again with this.

With us he is out of his comfort zone, he is using Davies, Hojbjerg etc. You don’t bring in a manager like this in this situation unless you fix it up immediately, this was said at the time it’s not hindsight. Pep would fail to here as well.

The club doesn’t know what it is and doesn’t have a football plan. Everything stems from that. We will be back here in 18 months with the next manager saying the same shit, it’s on repeat. The club has no plan so we go round in circles.

And if people keep bringing Davies into their posts as an example of one of our bad players, I'm gonna go fucking bananas!

He is not bad he is just not elite. He is not a CL level player. It’s not an issue with bad apples in the team we just don’t have the quality to go to the highest level.

Round of 16 in elite champions league. Conte plays royal and perisic.
Nothing wrong with royal, he's been one of our better players
Perisic , sessegnon is injured and dier was suspended so Davies had to play lcb otherwise you take a risk on Sanchez so that only left Peri who can play lwb

Not much else to be done there except play a flat back 4 , but he was never gonna do that

I didn't say Chelsea team, I said look at their back line - seeing as you were making a point about our backline:

David Luiz, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Moses, Alonso

Never in a millions years should that defence have the most clean sheets in the league - ultimately my point is that we is more than capable of maximising potential and hiding weaknesses

And Conte kinda did that with us anyway where he overachieved with the players he had last season and in particular our defence, this season he has underachieved massively.

He uses Hojbjerg and runs him into the ground, so what was the point of buying Bissouma if you're not going to use him? This is what I'm talking about, last season he had plenty of excuses because the bench option were shit, this season he's been backed enough to rotate players and keep the team fresh, he hasn't done that.

Blame the club as much as you want but the bottom line is that he has failed on pretty much every metric this season.
