IMO if Hugo hadn't got "fit" we would be sitting pretty in the top 4.
Add that to the insane decision to dump Doc then yeah, it's been disappointing.

Yes... Yes, we can safely say it HAS been a disappointment now.

Funnily enough, even if we DID somehow manage to get Top 4 (which we won't) the turgid, listless, disinterested, frankly boring way we've gone about the entire season will nullify any enthusiasm that might generate....

A truly shocking, MASSIVE backwards step of a season... considering where we were, and how we were playing just 12 months ago!
WTF HAPPENED?

Another thread that needs ending! There is only one answer to the question.

You could by more than 10 Leyton Orient.
I think I mentioned before I was offered a piece of the club (which put capitalization at about 7m at the time).
I would have LOVED to have grabbed a percentage but Mrs G would have divorced me. As it was, it would probably have been a good investment given their promotion.

Not sure what their value is now but with that money you could definitely look at climbing the football ladder, so I’m thinking long term.

Lots of running costs of a football club. Retracting pitches and skywalks aren’t cheap.

I would build a cheese room too. Got my first artists impressions already. No expense spared here.

Hello, my lovely Breeeetesh choooms. Spurs 1961, please take this kindly, as it is meant kindly. This place is just a talking shop on the internet. It's not the real world. Everyone here is a made up person. OK, people are ruder here than they are on some other internet blathering sites, and some may be ruder online than they would be in the pub, but you shouldn't let what people type onto a screen bother you.

I spend my professional life in a world in which robust debate is the stock in trade, and withering scorn and sarcasm are commonplace. Most of my friends are snarky gits as well. I am a snarky git. Thus I have rhinoceros skin and am immune to insults. Not everyone needs to be so, but it's not good for the soul (if there is such a thing as a soul) to allow mere words on screen to make steam come from your ears.

I stay off Twitter, am rarely on Facebook, and don't do Instagram, Snapchat, and what not. All forms of social media, including fora such as this one, can be enervating if you let them be. The trick is not to let them.
