I remember quite a few big Eriksen goals. Including a worldie vs Chelsea, the earliest goal in PL history vs United, a winner vs City..

Wasn't his strong point but arguably wasn't Kane's either and he was world class too. Christian was a wonderful player for us who created loads of great goals. Not gonna shit on him just to big the new toy up.
Eriksen defined lack of bottle in his time here. Very rarely showed up in big games. Had the one big game against Chelsea, but that was almost it.

Kane is the leading goal scorer in the history of the NLD by a good margin.

*Shrugs* He was brilliant for us.

Kane gets loads of stick for his record in finals/huge games.

I enjoyed Eriksen a lot. Technically beautiful. Maybe his big game record wasn't the best but most games aren't big matches and he was a joy most weeks.

Unfair to Eriksen, he showed up with a lot of late goals to save our asses. Not necessarily in big games, but all points matter.

Eriksen and Maddison are/were extremely similar players, albeit Eriksen somewhat more the precision craftsman and Madders more the tricks and flicks maverick.

Both could receive a ball from anywhere and deliver it to anywhere with the rhythm that all great #10's have. And both ran more than they appeared to.

dont you put that evil on me GIF

Tough with the form Bellingham is in. Though Madds could probably play as an 8 alongside Rice
Play Bellingham as the 8. I know he has been great at real as a 10 but he can do it all.

Don't think maddison will start though, especially with foden playing how he is. England really have an embarrassment of riches everywhere but centre half and even there we have some good talents coming through

Not for Gary-ball.

Essentially we have Bellingham, Foden (currently doing bits as at CAM now KDB is out) & Maddison all competing for the same spot...... Insane depth, but a braver manager would make better of it.

Henderson/Phillips will play

Foden, Kane, Saka, Bellingham, Maddison has an almost unfair amount of technical ability as a front 5.

England having this lot at once is a treat. It’s silly.
