Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

this is where i'm at now as well, granted it probably doesn't help with us being so shit all season as well , but it seems like before VAR we might have a couple of really bad decisions over the course of a season, now it seems like every big game has them, The Everton West ham penalty that wasn't given, the Gabriel Headbutt to Haalanad, the West ham goal and the Maddision penalty, thats 4 that I can remember in the last month from games I have watched......
TBH it's not just us being poor , it's all football , even before you factor in the poor officiating the game has become boring .
I honestly think I would have seen barely a handful of games this season where I thought that was a great game of football . None of this tappy , tappy back and forth whilst there is 9 players in a low block , and don't get me started on corners and freekicks around the box , all this grappling and pulling and interfering with the GK , it's all bullshit .
I know I'm old school , but it's just not enjoyable football .
Going for a walk .

It's him. His official IG. Madders is his official IG handle.

Yes, that's right.

Have no doubt.

Madders is the ballsy one. Fuck whatever FA wanna punish him. They will just prove how corrupted and dirty they all and PGMOL are.
So are we saying this decision was either corrupt to help an already safe Leeds , or corrupt to help West Ham stay up at our expense. Pretty sure the Prem have no desire to see us relegated , that makes zero sense .

This corruption malarkey does not stand up to scrutiny imho, makes us look pathetic .

EDIT: All clubs have some fans who think this , kind of proves it’s bollocks

The way this season is going, someone high up and powerful in the league office is an Woolwich fan and just wants to see Spurs in chaos.

Every decision awarded for Woolwich. Everything against us.

That’s a more likely theory than just corruption.

So this shadowy figure has refs and VAR officials all in on it . Over the course of a season loads of different refs and VAR officials have all agreed to conspire help this Bond villain out .

Sorry I’m not buying it , incompetent and weak yes , Blofeld no imho

The rules are that even if you win the ball, it's still a foul if the follow through is excessive/dangerous.
Winning the ball is not a shield for a foul/red card.
Unless you're a wankstain of a ref/VAR.

What the Maddison one raises is "what actually constitutes winning the ball"
Leeds player 100% did not win the ball. It was still there for Maddison had he not been fouled.
There's probably nothing in the rules that defines that, which they can hide behind.
The question then is, who does this have to happen to, before the rules are subsequently defined and changed?
United, Liverpool or Woolwich probably.

Thought it initially wasn't but its a pen all day long. What is the point in VAR?

Mate of mine has an interesting theory:

- VAR was introduced after years of small teams complaining about being robbed
- Powers that be made sure that VAR was flawed from the off, and refs briefed to fuck it up on purpose
- Now even the most fervent VAR lovers want it gone
- Authorities will eventually scrap it by popular demand
- Refs can go back to screwing smaller teams without 20 replays to show how corrupt they are

VAR is going nowhere

19 of the 20 PL teams voted to keep it

Exactly. I used to ref. And the key difference between me and most (almost all really) people commenting on games I was involved in, was that I had actually read the rules and their interpretation. Several times.

It is as staggering as it is laughable how many people in football think they know the laws of the game without having read them.

Hey, the 1970s called and said it touched the ball, and can it have it's ball back, while you nurse your broken ankle. Play on, he touched it!!!
