Excellent news to see that confirmed : I've no doubt we will either be taking that up or agreeing another contract for a longer timescale.
Only problem with the latter is that he's now 31 and 32 before the end of the season so we might want the new contract to be for 3 years (ie to age 34 or 35) and he might want a longer contract and at wages in a new contract of circa £6m+ pa it could be a stretch.
