I'm a bit taken aback at how Conte has preferred Winks and Hojbjerg to GLC. I can understand GLC's injury history is bad, but he seems to prefer the other 2 even when GLC is fit.
Well of course, that’s Levyball. Why spend £60m on Bruno when you can get Lo Celso and Jack Clarke for the same price? United have got 33 PL goals for their money and we got 1. Clarke never even made an appearance. Money well spent!

Conte was never gonna be able to click his fingers and see AT overcome his instincts overnight..... If it was gonna take a matter of months to get him up to scratch then the net benefit to our season would have been minimal.

I have heard some rumours that Gio is ignoring Conte's instructions while on the field. Hard to say how accurate that is or how people would know but if true I could see that pissing off Conte (or any manager).
But outside of some factor we don't know about it makes no sense from a football perspective. No reason to have Skipp paired with Winks or PEH or worse Winks and PEH paired together when there are clearly better options.
This is bollocks! All based on one player Moses who he turned into a WB. However he had much better players around to make up for his short comings in that role. I don’t get why we would buy a player to play in a position he never plays and too boot turns doesn’t want to play. I don’t get this conte thing of turning him into a WB. Adama probably didn’t want to play regimented football where his instructed on everything he has to do. He ain’t got the discipline for that his an off the cuff player who doesn’t know what his gonna do and not do his team mates. If conte is so hung up about playing WBs just go for someone who plays that role.

Something personal definitely happened between GLC and Conte. I'll take Conte's side if so; as it's players job to listen to and respect the manager.
But either way, it's left our midfield in a truly tragic state. Hojbjerg Skipp Winks as a trio is the least creative out of any team in the PL, perhaps bar Burnley and Norwich's midfield.
