I don't get why people were super excited for Diaz and now super bummed for Kulusevski. Of course Diaz has been a lot better this season and Kulusevski has struggled in Juve. But even if he has struggeled he has 0.5 goal involvements per 90 minutes of played football this season. This coming off the bench when it is difficult to find the rhythm. Moura has ~0,3 GI/90 this season. Positionally he is very versatile and at the moment his best position is a better fit than Diaz's LW. He is also three years younger, only 21. And he is a smart player who can see the game well and make good passes. With a smart player like Kane to link up with, he could really hit off.
He’s been hampered by lack of game time and opportunity. He was voted Serie A young player of the year less than 18 months ago, so he clearly has something and with the right manager, he may rediscover his form/potential.

Levy and Lewis are in lockstep on the notion of a club with no money in and no money out spinning off as many real estate schemes to grow the empire as they can. That's the business model so long as ENIC owns the club.

Such is Lewis' lack of care for football, and unwillingness to live in London of course, that were Levy to no longer be in his post, the club would thus be run by a professional employee, as most clubs are on a day to day basis.

That doesn't solve the investment problem, but Levy's deficiencies as the chairman of a football club in 2022 are such that it would nonetheless leave us in a much stronger (and less exhausting to support) position.

I can't speak to that era, but one thing that's impressive about the new stadium is the way in which it is very consciously built to correct and improve upon all of the things that suck about the Library.

The football rivalry isn't in his blood, but the business rivalry very much is. The North London Stadium Derby was decisively won by Levy.

Were there any game-changing commercial items left to pursue, perhaps it would be worth feeling differently. But there aren't. The ENIC project has concluded. Time to declare victory and walk away.
If you think it's concluded then you are a long way off. The shopping and cinema complex being built, using the stadium for large events. There is a lot for them to do, most of all to sit back and rake in the millions.

I didn’t want Traore so that’s not the Axe I am grinding here, but Barca are fucking out of order.
They are operating under severe financial restrictions due to smashing the Spanish leagues financial rules. Now they snatch a player on a very murky deal with som clever payment provisions designed solely to avoid those restrictions.

It’s not in the spirit of the rules and the Spanish league may and I hope do- look at the deal and decide that’s the case and punish them.

They are a shithouse of a club and I hope they go fucking bust.

(At least as punishment they have that ducking dosser stinking the place out. Serves em right)

And it's exactly this.

Posters are fizzing at Levy and co but what the fcuk can we do when faced with all the competing forces?

Barcelona are swamped with debt, have no Messi or anyone of real note and yet are plundering the transfer market. How can they be allowed to do it?

You have the fcuking dirty oil barons being treated as untouchable deities and yet posters think we can go get whoever we want. It's pie in the sky thinking.

What we need is to reset. We need to decide and then define the club we want to be and follow that model rigidly, with conviction and be the best we can be.

And that is not excusing the absolute car crash of the last 4 years of sh!t transfers and lack of player development as opposed to stating some facts.

Just look at Woolwich and their near pointless pursuit of Vlahovic. Clubs of our respective levels need to adapt or we will get left behind completely.

"Kulusevski, 21, has made 20 appearances so far for Juventus in Serie A this season, with 78 per cent of those coming from the bench. In those 20 games, the Swede has scored one goal and assisted three . . .

"I think Kulusevski is having a great season," Paratici said, as per Sky Italia when the signing [to Juve] was confirmed two years ago. "He’s scored a few goals, played at a high level, but don’t forget he is only 20 years old".

1 goal and 3 assists in just 20 games - should fit right in
Because we are feeding off scraps from the food table we will pretty much take anything a real supermarket sweep.
We have a big stadium but small club mentality we are a joke and rightly laughed at by other clubs and the media.

We had a window in which Diaz wanted to join us and Liverpool hadn’t bid

We were haggling over 4 million instead of just paying a premium price for a premium player

That’s why it’s Levy’s fault

Putting a positive spin on the Traore and Diaz events, these both demonstrate we are feeding at the top table. We are trying to buy players that teams who were automatic choices for the ESL want.

Still fed up we are likely to miss out though
Lol

If I wanted to, I could go to a showroom today and blag a drive with the highest priced car for a test drive, but I know full well I wouldn't be buying it. Could give a whole story to the salesman on how great the car is and I have the money for it, but its never coming home with me

That's what your dining at the top table comment means to me. Name me a top table type player we've actually signed?

If we're going to get Amrabat then so be it, but we do need an AMF and a RWB with attacking traits.

The clock is running down and our 4th place hopes are diminishing.

Royal is very much a RB and not a RWB and Doherty isn't good enough to be in the first #11 of a top 4 club.

Levy is actually the architect of his own demise. If we were still in the old WHL we would sell out whatever shite is served up.

With 62,000 seats we could easily have 20,000 empty per home game. Thats a blow to his ego.

I cant imagine the embarrasment when hospitality is half full too. Thats could happen
