Yeah I think this is being somewhat missed in the discussion around him. I don’t think there’s any guarantee he plays RW for us predominantly, I think part of the reason he failed to gel at Juve was they played him too wide.

He can play where Moura is playing, which is more inside forward than winger. He can partner Kane in a 3-5-2, serving as a bit of a creative player, he says his best position is as a trequarista. Or I could see him playing as the forward most midfielder in a midfield three.

He’ll be the most versatile player in the squad, a chess piece we haven’t had.

I am reasonably happy

However City is Pep’s team with his players
Ditto LIverpool
Ditto Woolwich
To a large degree Chelsea

Conte did not have a single player due to timing of his arrival, so of course his need is much greater

Mind you United fans should be really pissed off I would think
 
We should not go for any Dembelles any more or any sound alikes in stupid hopes that it is going to be anything like or close to Musa

You realise these 2 have played in a combined 250 games for Juve?
They're also both current, full and regular internationals. Unlike Dele and TND.
Also, Serie A was on the verge of taking one of the Premier Leagues champions league spots recently, so don't seem inferior to me.

Comparing defences is difficult, I think individually they have the edge- but Conte's formation means we are more solid.


Of course; Kane and Son elite level. But our problem is they're our only 2 reliable goalscorers. And we don't have anyone creative either. Woolwich definitely have more goalscorers and creative players.

If Kane and Son get injured we're in real trouble in terms of goals; but Woolwich aren't that reliant on a select few.

We’re the only one with a new manager, so that’s inherently apples to oranges.

I like our incomings and our outgoings really. We’re a player short. The same player short we left it in the summer. It would have cost next to nothing for a loanee who could help us, we’re right to be pissed.

But everyone is saying he's shit because Juve couldn't use him properly, so by definition he must be bad.

I don't think I ever said we don't have a chance.

But if we do, it'll be reliant on our better manager, and other superior squads such as Man United continuing to flop.

Of course it's possible- but my hope was that Paratici delivers the transfers in to ensure that our squad itself is good enough.
 
Bittersweet about Dele. Where the fuck did it all go wrong? Hope he does shit there and they get relegated. Can't bear the club. We lose 2 games and it's always a fucking crisis across every sport site going, while they lose most weeks while spending big every window and nothing is said.
 
I'm ok, better than nothing. Offload the deadweight was a massive job already. Just find them a definite destination the next window, plus 3 or 4 good players and I can see this team at a very good position.

From what I've read he is a hard working player with a great attitude, so Conte will be perfect for him.

If it was that easy to find the perfect loanee, that would have cost nothing, we would have done it.
