Yeah I think this is being somewhat missed in the discussion around him. I don’t think there’s any guarantee he plays RW for us predominantly, I think part of the reason he failed to gel at Juve was they played him too wide.
I am reasonably happyThe top 10 teams in the Premier league brought in 4 total players that will be joining the first team now. We bought in 50% of the total first team players in the top half of the Premier League.
Luis Diaz (Liverpool)
Dejan Kulusevski (Spurs)
Rodrigo Bentancur (Spurs)
Chiquinho (Wolves)
If you’re to jaded to ever see anything decent in what Spurs are doing, I’m not going to try to convince you. But at least take some small pleasure in that no one around has done anything, unless you really rate Chiquinho.
Got 2 bench warmers from an inferior league is hardly anything to write home about...
Because we have a better manager. And also a tougher mentality this season than them- we've won many tight games even when below par. Meanwhile Woolwich try and postpone games, lose their minds and get down to 10 men, etc. when things get tough.
Partey has recently improved his level closer to his Atletico days; Xhaka I agree is a laughing stock.
Comparing defences is difficult, I think individually they have the edge- but Conte's formation means we are more solid.
Of course; Kane and Son elite level. But our problem is they're our only 2 reliable goalscorers. And we don't have anyone creative either. Woolwich definitely have more goalscorers and creative players.
If Kane and Son get injured we're in real trouble in terms of goals; but Woolwich aren't that reliant on a select few.
Woolwich fans are far more fucked off than United.I am not massively unhappy
However City is Pep’s team with his players
Ditto LIverpool
Ditto Woolwich
To a large degree Chelsea
Conte did not have a single player due to timing of his arrival, so of course his need is much greater
Mind you United fans should be really pissed off I would think
We should count him as HG.
We’re the only one with a new manager, so that’s inherently apples to oranges. The top 10 teams in the Premier league brought in 4 total players that will be joining the first team now. We bought in 50% of the total first team players in the top half of the Premier League.

But everyone is saying he's shit because Juve couldn't use him properly, so by definition he must be bad.Yeah I think this is being somewhat missed in the discussion around him. I don’t think there’s any guarantee he plays RW for us predominantly, I think part of the reason he failed to gel at Juve was they played him too wide.
He can play where Moura is playing, which is more inside forward than winger. He can partner Kane in a 3-5-2, serving as a bit of a creative player, he says his best position is as a trequarista. Or I could see him playing as the forward most midfielder in a midfield three.
He’ll be the most versatile player in the squad, a chess piece we haven’t had.
I know, we're all fucked...But who pays the wages to the fans that pay the players wages. It's all a giant pyramid scheme.
I don't think I ever said we don't have a chance.Doesn't this contradict your original claims of us not having a chance of getting top 4 then?
Which loanee was available who plugs that hole? We’re the only one with a new manager, so that’s inherently apples to oranges.
I like our incomings and our outgoings really. We’re a player short. The same player short we left it in the summer. It would have cost next to nothing for a loanee who could help us, we’re right to be pissed.
He looks like everybody who I went to school with rolled into one person
I'm sorry you can't say this guy will be a success here but won't bring anything significantly beyond Bergwijn. If that's the case, you've inadvertently called the guy a donkey before he's even had a chance to kick a ball yet.btwIgula , I have a feeling that this guy will be a success here compared to his failings at Juventus.
From what I've read he is a hard working player with a great attitude, so Conte will be perfect for him.
However, I don't think he'll bring our team onto another level, or offer something significantly beyond Bergwijn or Lucas.
If it was that easy to find the perfect loanee, that would have cost nothing, we would have done it.We’re the only one with a new manager, so that’s inherently apples to oranges.
