On Youtube he, Bakayoko, looks amazing - but so did 2 other WRF from Eredivisie, Antony & David Neres. One may also LWF, Depay.
It's really hard to shop from the Eredivisie since it's such a hit & miss "place" to buy players from. And their players aren't bargains anymore. £82m for Antony so far looks like a rip off.
Does Bakayoko track back properly and how is his work-rate and attitude?

He seems to have a good attitude and is deffo no diva like Depay or Bergwijn.

Ashley Phillips signed a new Blackburn deal last season and we signed him in the summer...

Doesn't really mean much outside of the fact we probably won't be getting him in January.
Aye, and means they have likely
Slotted in a higher release clause, too.

You'd think they have learned from
the Phillips transfer.

But if it's still the Venky's (is it still the Venky's?), you'll never quite know.

Had him, never gave him a chance, now killing it elsewhere...would cost a wee fortune to sign him again, making us look like mugs really.

His Sunderland pal Cirkin never got a shot either, when Sess/Reggy got plenty opps despite letting us down time after time.

Troy got a couple PL games 4 seasons ago...hasn't had another shot since, despite getting decent experience on loan and with Ireland. Again, how many senior strikers/wingers got loads gametime and didn't deliver?

Why buy Ash for him to play with the resies instead of getting him a Champo loan?

Donley would've played like 10 games already for Brighton.

Where's 20mil club signing Spence now? Ah yeah, was all Conte's fault.

The way the club's dealt with youngsters the past few years been a joke.

Much more sound to spend 60 mil on Dombs & Richy, 25 on Gil, to get Danjuma on loan for him to play 27 seconds in 4 months...

Could Mitoma be an option in January? Mitoma on the left, Son in the middle, and Kulu and Johnson taking turns on the RW/LW as necessary.

Brighton look properly shit, and they're not going anywhere so maybe they'd be willing to part with him.

talk of vlahovic apparently. that would make sense
A tad overrated perhaps but he can't be worse than Richarlison so I'm all for it. Plus his missus looks like an angel sent down from heaven and we can use all the divine intervention we can get if we're going to salvage this season.

he was the hottest prospect before juve snapped him up. im reading that he dont sut their style and would suit ange more....thats the opinions of some people on youtube anyway.

apparently his injury record is a concern tho? but i hpe this news is true because it means they've identified we are seriously lacking a 9. son is only useful against 6 or so teams..to start anyway. great sub to bring on when 2 up against the likes of west ham when they are forced to come out.

5th for a manger 3 months into a complete re-set is "middle ground" & "underachieving" is it?

you’re doing that thing you did with our shit results run under Conte where you consistently say ‘we are 4th, we are 5th’ when ignoring we’re like a point off 9th.

If we have one more bad result and collapse down the table will it suddenly go from really good to under achieving? No.

We started well but have been pretty abysmal of late and haven’t dealt at all well with the first tests of the season.

Has he been found out?

Not as dangerous this year as last year.

I always figured he was a bit of a flavour of the month player; but if one attributes any collective Brighton slide to the loss of Caciedo, Bissouma & MacAllister in quick succession (+ in comes 38 y/o Milner) and the added weight of Europe..... Can he perhaps re-find himself again with a more dominant MF behind him and a bit of rest/rotation?

They didn’t only sign Milner.
