Good to see him getting game time, obviously the easiest of run outs and he won't be playing alongside Sanchez as our EPL starting CB pairing anytime soon, what you can see is that the CB's are being drilled to play the same way - one left, one right and focus on maintaining position - even in a game where they were almost never under pressure that discipline remained strong.

Well worth checking out the heat maps and chalkboards for this game - every player very obviously playing a defined role. Training ground discipline in a competitive (almost) game.

Looked very solid tonight, really hope he can stay healthy and progress as a player. Ever since his debut you can tell he has the mentality for it, always looks totally calm and nonplussed. Love that in a defender.

Better than Sanchez. Goes into headers with conviction, and has actual depth perception. Much less of a bomb scare.

Developing nicely, always seems to be unruffled and slots into the team without any fuss despite only having played a dozen first team games. Good that he can cover CB and both full back positions, although CB definitely his real position judging from his youth games

Think he got into the opposition box for a corner - was very good at getting a few headed goals a season for u23's, despite not being unduly tall, and hoping to see that continue.

Out with a shoulder injury for a few weeks, this is not good, he's a bit injury prone.

Seems as though he has injury after injury unfortunately.

Let’s hope he / the club can get on top of things. Dier also had injury after injury and has managed to turn things around. Hope the same for Tanganga. Great potential.

IMO he should start as RB in at least one of the 2 cup games this weeks.

Doherty has not transferred his form at Wolves to Spurs - maybe because at Wolves he was mainly a RWB whereas at Spurs he's mainly playing RB - although his biggest contribution seems to have been motivating Aurier.

Tanganga is a good all round defender, and if Reguilon plays (as LWB) I think Tanganga can play RB very well, and id Davies plays (usually as a LB) against Middlesbrough we saw Tanganga making good runs down the right flank and putting in decent crosses ,,,even in the 90th minute.

Japhet made about a dozen appearances last season and injury has restricted him to a handful this season, so really think he needs to get minutes under his belt (whether RB/CB or even LB) so that at the start of next season he's got 30+ appearances under his belt and can be regarded at a proper member of the squad rather than just a promising youngster.

Will be invaluable to get another HG/Club trained player in the squad on merit too.

Watched him on the all in one documentary last night and seems a top lad, really grounded and looks after his mum and dad.
Also only down the road from me in Edmonton.

I see no reason why he can’t dislodge Sanchez from the match day squad on a more regular basis and come into the starting team for cup games.
