To be fair Nuno should be saying that too after last nights debacle. The gulf between our first 11 and second 11 is incredible really.

Aside from any shit-cuntery going on; I'm adamant that the following should be able to stroll this group stage:

Giollini
Japh / Sanchez / Rodon / Davies
Winks / Gio
Berg / Dele
/ Gil

The highlighted players (and Doherty) need to have a long hard look at themselves.

I dont know about Mr Weak and Mr Flimsy at CM. We might have to go with Doherty at RB and then move japh as a DM or something to have some bite in the middle.

The pornstar up top is a bit of a problem as well.

Well, I'm talking about "should" rather than will... Lost all faith; hence the closing comment.

Not the worst idea in the world tbh, but Doherty is dreadful too.

Indeed. Evident where the problem lies in terms of getting a half decent performance out of our B-team though. The players we are relying on are delivering the least.

If this lot had their shit together, poor Dane might have actually had a shot in his 4 appearances.

Those 4 are all 24-25 year olds. Should be nearing their peaks. We need to cut our losses, i think.

Almost makes me want to join a Roma forum just to see the crazy entourage of Mourinhistas arguing with the sane Roma supporters 😆
We all know it's happening... I bet there are familiar faces / usernames there 😏

Those commentators sound as sick of him as most Spurs fans were when he was here.

It's all about Jose. They've nailed him for it too.
As most should know by now I despise this cunt with an absolute passion. But this is where he's good (not unique other managers also do this), this stuff on the touchline can get a reaction from your players on the pitch, what I mean here is they see him prepared to be a dick, cause trouble, get in the oppo of officials faces. It usually generates rival fans then calling him every name under the sun, if he's set this up right with his team and they are aware, he's kind of saying look at me, look at what I'm doing for you (metoforically), the theory is the team on the pitch should react.

Now, in this case at the end of the game in 0-0 having had one shot on target all game it fits into a different category, one where the media post-match will talk about him rather than the shite insipid performance. Again, I don't have too much of an issue in this, but the problem is nowadays the media see through this, most focus on them playing shit. Faced with these questions he either walks out asking for respect or he picks on a player(s) as a shield to hide behind.

Mourhino getting booed off by roma fans after a lucky draw against a team of actual Eskimos...surely not long before he becomes one of the most sacked managers in the history of football...

I think he needs to lose the 'special one' tag now. Even had their first team out tonight by the looks of it and were at home. I don't think any manager in history has had a fall from grace quite so dramatic as his, since that last Chelsea title win he's honestly just been terrible wherever he's gone.

Incredible he still has a few backers, even on here. The evidence that he's genuinely just a shit coach now is piling up. He seems to still get a mini boost when he joins teams as maybe they think 'Oh my god it's Jose!' and then as soon as he gets time to work with him, they realise what he is now.
