Not sur about being faves for EL some of the teams look v strong like AC, BMG, manure , Leicester I’d say we’d struggle against rangers. No gaurantee we can win it more chance with caraboa.
palace game as someone posted they have shipped in 10 goals but we struggled with 1-1 draw. Missed opportunity big time those 3 points would helped us going into the pool and Leicester games.
if city win we could be 8th going into tmrws game although still tight in points terms but those who kept justifying JMs tactics by saying it got us top doesn’t really wash. The points range at the top is so tight. From 1st to potentially 7/8 in just over a week.
We drew against Palace when we could have won, yes. But do you go into every season thinking we are going to win every match?

Teams lose and they draw. This “that match was a must win” bollocks is getting tiresome. We want to win every match, but it’s not going to happen. No point in throwing a strop when it doesn’t happen. Other teams have and will drop points too.

Not sure what the first sentence nonsense is but I will just ignore it and go on.\

We don't have to just use the Norwich game, we looked poor in many of our EL games this year, having to rely on Kane and/or Son to save us because we set up so defensive. If Jose and his style give us such an advantage those qualifying games shouldn't have been as tough as they were, we shouldn't be giving up goals to Stoke and tied with them into the 2nd half.

Looking at teams that have won Cups, domestically and in Europe, teams that are progressive and attacking have won virtually all, if not all, of them while teams that set up negatively hoping for a 0-0 have not had success. There is nothing to suggest that us playing our style is more likely to win than teams that are willing to score and attack the opponents.
You know what he means ... Ever read anything you post?

We all said it 2 and a half months ago. Even when we were winning games.

Not sustainable.

Fucking hell, we even went 0-1 up after a minute and we still decided to sit back for the majority of the game. Even though we KNOW Wolves would leave space going for the equaliser.

And we all knew Wolves would score.

2 points in our last 4 league games.
1 win in our last 6 league games.

Another week with a chance of gaining ground absolutely wasted because of an awful style of football that has continuously seen us drop points.

Every team knows exactly how to play against Mou now and he's done nothing to change it up since Palace when it was obvious something needed to be tweaked.

He's getting good performances against teams that have the style and players to dictate the tempo (Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Woolwich(lol)) but has no plan on how to dictate the tempo against the other 15ish teams in the league.

I know Levy loves Mou but he's also been impatient in the past with letting things that clearly aren't working linger.

That was shit. We have arguably our strongest ever squad at least for a couple of decades where our strength is in attack and we try and hold on to leads.

I accepted Mourinho on the basis that he would be successful even if the football was boring but he really has to do better.
