You pick out specific incidences which happen at EVERY club and claim that means he was never backed.
So because we didnt replace Dembele straight away, despite replacing him within 1.5 seasons with a 64M midfielder who YOU think is one of the best players in the PL, that means he was never backed in five years.

Was Klopp never ever backed because Woolwich signed Pepe?
Klopp?

Pepe?

LOL

See below - nothing more to add

In any case - argument was around our most successful manager since the 80s which is undoubtedly and undeniably Poch

Yes Klopp wanted Pepe, he never got Pepe. Does that mean he was never backed during his tenure?

And forget Klopp.

Dembele was sold in January 2019. He had played in 10 games in half a year.
He was replaced in July 2019 by a player you think is one of the best in the PL, and cost a club record 64M

Are you saying he was´nt replaced and Poch wasnt backed?
Because he wasnt signed in January?

And now the arguement has evolved.
Stop bailing out because you can’t answer.

Was Poch not backed when we sold Dembele who was three years passed his peak and injured in Jan 2019 when we replaced him with Ndombele for 64M in July 2019?

Remember how highly you rate Ndombele.
Is this not backing, on the basis that if he wasn’t signed mid season, it doesn’t count?

I'm not interested in the backing argument - it's a non-point and subjective at best

I was referring to success during their tenure

I'm told the reason the EFL are waiting to make a decision is that the Orient players whilst positive are all so low as to be almost non contagious, running around on an open field kicking a ball represents an almost zero chance of passing on the virus ... however 'almost zero' is not an absolute and if they let the game go ahead and Covid does sweep through the Spurs squad the legal implications could be massive.

Common sense says play the game, there are no cases of a fit professional player suffering serious Covid issues, however big money says not a chance ... the only way this game gets played is if Spurs and Orient sign liability wavers, it's unlikely our insurance company would sanction that.
Fucking hell I have heard some shit on here but this is up there with the best, if it’s so hard to pass it on how come the positive tests in the team are up to double figures ?

You can say the same thing about any pyramid system, which includes almost every sport on the planet, where the clubs/staff/players in the top tier get 80% of the cash. However without the aspiration of playing EPL football, NFL, Wimbledon, Crucible or the Open Championship it's quite likely there would be no lower tiers.

Are Ferrari a 'corrupt parasite' on car manufacturing? or Coke a 'corrupt parasite' on drinks manufacturers?

The hate and envy towards success is becoming an all to unpleasant theme in the world today.
The Premier League is a monstrosity really, even if we are addicted to it. While Premier League clubs continue to pay players 100k a week and upwards we could lose the whole of League Two, a lot of League One and a few Championship clubs permanently in the next 12 months.

Nobody was successful before 1992 apparently, and there was no aspiration to be the best.

So basically, in 2.5 seasons Arry achieved 4th twice and a CL quarter after taking over the team bottom of the league, and was sacked after finishing 4th.

Poch took over a team that was 6th, took us to 2nd, 3rd, 4th and a CL final and was sacked with us in 14th, and had 3 more seasons than Arry to do it.
Don’t forget the season Arry came in he had no signings and no pre season and got us winning as well as playing well.

This Poch worship madness needs to end, it’s high time people start seeing it for what it was.
He took us as far as he could, then it all came crashing down when his weaknesses were exposed.

That’s all folks
Harry had 3.78 seasons not 2.5. . 4th 5th 4th is not really as good 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and a CL final.

Last part of what you say is true. He took us as far as he could and a change was needed.
