It was 2 and a half minutes just for the penalty decision and delay, add in 6 subs, Lindgard going down with cramp, the ref making a big show of running over to Young to tell him off for time wasting, and De Gea wasting time on every goal kick.

As I said we deserved nothing, but I'm sick of this bullshit time keeping. Should have been 6-7 minutes at least

Glad we didn't have to endure another minute of that shit. We coulda been there all night and still wouldn't look like scoring.
 
Surprised ndombele didn't start. He is a big game player. We looked shocking in midfield. Got bossed by mctominay and Fred. That's appalling when we have players like ndombele and lo celso on the bench. They need to be integrated into the squad asap. Honeymoon period is well and truly over. Son looked knackered.
 
And if we were in that position with key players out we lose like 5-0 this has been a problem for years we can never take advantage, easiest time ever to beat United and we made them look like world beaters.
 
Well if Aurier doesn't get you, Sissoko will. Why double up this pair on Rashford, and invite him to run at them. Additionally, crosses that wouldn't look out of place in Sunday League.

I can't understand why Lo Celso doesn't deserve a start. I fully expect Dier to be back on Saturday!

Why do we expect all our creativity to come from Alderweireld?

Dire. Barely laid a glove on United the entire game. Zero creativity in virtually the entire 90 minutes.
The sheer lack of urgency at 2-1 down with 10 minutes to go was chronic. United won tonight purely by dint of hard work and effort, Spurs meandered through the game and got what they deserved in the end.
Nothing.
 
I sort of want to bin this season already. It's just disappointment sprinkled with hope.

Players bought in the summer who aren'r ready, long term players not what they used to be and a manager who may definitely have seen his greatest triumphs.

If he gets us near top 5 this season it will astounding unless he adds 2 or 3 players.

Fortunately my balloon was not flying too high.
