Love him but we moved on and have steadily progressed with each subsequent new manager, well almost all.
I see Sherwood as an anomaly mainly because it was only 28 games.Poch’s teams decline towards the end taking his points won below Sherwood.

Yes but so has the quality of players improved - you want to see the likes of Atouba back (even worse than Aurier alledgedly) ?
Reminds me of how Big Sam has the highest win percentage of any England manager ever at 100 percent.Poch’s teams decline towards the end taking his points won below Sherwood.

The support was on a different levelGod, I miss the feeling around the club when he was the manager.
I’d love for him to return in some form of coaching or ambassador role.
Absolutely. I remember it so fondly. The support was on a different level
exactly why I can’t say but it was rocking
Yeah was terrible, he made me love the club more than I did before he arrived

Agree. home matches were a buzz to go to, crowd right up for it and a team on the front foot from kick off. We had similar under Harry but after the dross served up under santini jols tenure was like the club waking up from a comaAbsolutely you can.
It’s the general feeling, the “togetherness”, the unity.
Under Martin Jol we was tribal as fuck and al stuck together. The fans in the stands were all behind him and it created that buzz.
Every match day was something to look forward to.
We had our first European tours under Jol too if I remember correctly, since 1999!
so I would definitely make a case that you can love a club more depending on who is managing us.
