If Inzaghi is in poll position and Pep is the preferred choice how does Poch fit into 2nd?

Juventus to sound out Mauricio Pochettino as new manager - if first choice Pep Guardiola stays with Man City
Guardiola would be the first choice of Juventus to succeed Maurizio Sarri, who was sacked on Saturday, but Pochettino is available right now

Hope he goes to Juve and dominates so all the haters on here can see what he can do with solid financial backing not some bargain bin specials

Bargin bill specials? How many times did we break our transfer record under him again? Did we not sign Son, Sanchez, Moura, Ndombele, Lo Celso? Did he not inherit Kane, Lloris, Walker, Dembele, Eriksen Vertonghen? The myths peddled in order to elevate him by his continued warped supporters is quite something.

Compared to his peers he was spending peanuts on wages and fees.

The myths peddled in order to denigrate him by his continued warped critics is quite something.

right so because the likes of Kane, Dembele, Ali, Son to name just a few weren’t as highly paid as their top 4 counter parts that prevented us from winning anything. Doesn’t matter that our team way ahead of the talent of the likes of United, Woolwich and even Liverpool for much of the last six years. That’s irrelevant because those clubs payrolls were bigger than ours. Hilarious you cannot make this shit up.

completely different point, are you in agreement that he wasn't spending as much as his peers. If so why bother replying.

Both of those can't be right. If you are saying the second is (which has him as second choice) we can ignore the independent one (which has him as second choice) and vice versa
It doesn’t have him as second choice, he out of contract so most likely easier to negotiate

Did the bloke shag your bird or what?

He didn’t need too as he had a much better team.

but if it is all about spend how has Klopp been able to beat Man City to the league? How was he able to beat The European financial elite and win the CL? His net spend is less that Evertons.

But again it is just another excuse in the Pochettino cap. By saying that he needed the financial muscle of the elite despite having one of the best teams in the league you’re basically admitting he wasn’t good enough.

And let’s not pretend that he didn’t spend massive sums last summer. How did window work out again? What happened to him last season again?

So you agree he didn't spend anywhere near his peers.

Says the guy on the full blown anti Levy train.

I’m just bored of this endless poor little Pochettino rountine and endless desire to throw those still at the club under the bus for him.

The guy blew a once in a generation opportunity and yet some of you still cling to the fantasy that he was responsible for it.

Levy blew it in 2017 when he didn’t strengthen an ageing team at its peak - even after Poch went public begging him

Those players, just like most of our players, weren't considered that talented at the start. If you go back to season previews for most of his seasons Spurs were often expected to not make Top 4. You can't use hindsight to make a revisionist assessment of a point in time. Case in point: Summer 2015. Man Utd just got back in the Top 4 after one year out and signed Depay (one of Europe's most wanted talents), Schneiderlin (one of the league's most rated midfielders who played for Poch previously), Schweinsteiger (one of the best players of his generation), Martial and Darmian (statistically one of the best right backs in Europe the previous season). They were expected to push on and challenge for the league again as it was just two years since Fergie retired.

So you agree he didn't spend anywhere near his peers.

And ?

Again he didn’t need to - he had a much better team.

Your argument is basically the equivalent of arguing that Belgium cannot win the World Cup despite the players they have because they are a nation of 11 million with no track record of success and therefore cannot compete.

That's not my argument.
