I wonder if Man City will get the slagging off we’ve been getting. Nah, me neither !

Meh, it's just a sure sign Liverpool will win everything this year...

Besides, why waste time on a City narrative when they have a relatively paultry amount of fans to troll to start with.

Lot more fun making a mockery of the team that are trying to trade of off actual footballing principals rather than succumbing to a class-less cheque-book battle.

Well the BBC headline is quite damning: "City reduced to 'a barely recognisable rabble'."

Also, this in The Times today is interesting:
"The consensus among the media pack who travelled to Milan — and, yes, we would say this — was that Tottenham escape the more frenzied scrutiny that some of their Premier League rivals might attract after a third consecutive defeat."

No surprise there. BBC World is the biggest waste of space when on Holiday. It is frequently the Token UK tv station and yet offers nothing about what is happening in the UK. Only surprise that liverpool got a mention.

Does the word "World" not give you a hint....its an international news channel, not a domestic UK news channel? In fact you can't officially watch the BBC World News channel in the UK.

What's the pundits view on us so far this season?

I mean, we're fourth. Four points off top. Five of our seven league games this season have been 'away'. Keeping pace with two teams that are unbeaten and the record breaking Champions from the previous year,..

We haven't been playing well at all but the pundits love that don't they? Win well playing poorly? As Spurs fans we obviously dramatise it all and think we're shit because we are all just cynical fans. But ultimately here we are, better off points wise than we were last season. More points than we had against the same opponents from last seasons. Lloris and Dele missing nearly half of our games. Kane gone through criticism of 'tiredness', no signings made in the summer, issues with the stadium etc. and we're still here..

“Spurs win the ‘Not playing well but still win’ trophy, but will that be enough to keep their players happy?”

Don't know if anyone remebers after the Watford game, Jermaine Jenas came out and said he's never seen us play badly and win.

He's chatting shit here isn't he?

1. He mentioned it after the Watford game, when we played poorly.
2. He compared it to Man City beating Newcastle despite playing poorly.

Fuck off Jenas. You knew you were wrong as soon as you said it and you're trying to back track.

Not sure many teams play badly and win the type of games he's talking about as nearly always the opposition will be of a quality that won't let you get away with a poor performance.

Tottenham 2-4 Barcelona: 'It's stretching reality to claim Spurs are among Europe's best'

If anyone's feeling nice and relaxed have a read of this.

Everyone loves it when we lose - some of the comments are corkers.

The modern day football fan is just a whingy, snipey little brat. The glee of us losing tells you something about how we're upsetting the balance of power.

Can't imagine them giving a toss when we lost countless times against shite teams in the 90s so we must be doing something right.

The article is not only fair, but also insightful

It's funny, Liverpool have just lost two cup games in a row, yet there's no article about them along the same lines, Phil McNulty, the writer's has long been a joke on BBC about his obvious bias against certain teams anyway.

Love how some of them are saying "Spurs aren't even in London's best" when we're the only representative from the city in the Champions League this season.

Every time we lose it's an opportunity to give an airing to the well-worn observations about how we didn't buy any players during the summer and we haven't won anything and we need to or everyone will want to leave and fill up an article without any effort. There's a point there I guess, but I have lost count of the amount of articles I've read saying the exact same thing. It's as tired as a RAWK poster saying that Harry Kane has claimed every single goal that has been scored so far this season and acting like it's the funniest and most original joke ever.
