ArmadilloSackRace ArmadilloSackRace has your gear arrived yet? I think your take on things is quite similar to mine so keen to know your opinion
The stuff from soccer00.com? Yeah, they arrived the day after the Germany game that I was desperately hoping to be able to wear the grey Euro 96 shirt for, which was gutting, but my fault for ordering so close to the start of the Euros.

Really happy with the grey one, size is spot on and quality is decent. Only shame was it didn't come with the Southgate name and number that I ordered, but I made a complaint and they knocked a fiver off, so it only cost me about £6 in the end!

The other I ordered was the player version (vapour) current England away. Was disappointed with that one, but the main gripe was the sizing. I have the real vapour version of the home shirt, so ordered the same size fake away and it's loads smaller. If I order again I'll just go for the normal replica version, which I think will be fine.

Delivery took a day shy of 4 weeks, which isn't too bad for these things.

I would love to be able to track down some older Spurs gear that I wished I had purchased at the time.

Things like this below, and there was a blue/white track top that AVB wore that was lovely. I'm less bothered about team shirts but would like some subtle gear to wear out and about. I wear team shirts to games or watching them at home, that's all really...

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Think these jackets are player-issue only - I've searched all around for them with no luck. This year they're navy with the venom yellow which I'd love to get my hands on.

Yeah I had the same problem with the player version of the England top

For better or worse For better or worse Yeah, sadly they're club issue only. Keep an eye out on ebay though! They sometimes pop up on there, presumably from people with connections to either nike or the club. I managed to get the home shirt from a couple seasons ago without the AIA advertising which was a great find.

For these particular jackets nike uses the marketing name "shield". Happy hunting!

cheers for the pointers. Weird, it's the first year i'm not overly fussed about any of the strips

cheers, shame, seems the nice refined stuff doesn't make it to us

Seems like the shirt design team have been inspired by the utter mess that this club has been in recently, and decided to put it visually on those kits

Third kit looks a bit better for me here than previous shots

Fuck me is this real?

I had a shell suit that looked like that in the 80's

ugly as fuck

It's all cyclical I suppose, hopefully the John Wark stash comes back in at some point
They REALLY are fucking awful aren't they?

The ONLY redeeming feature is that neither contain RED.... but that's about it!

At least AIA have proved they have no political/superstitious/religious/financial/ Ancient Chinese lucky charm made-up reason for sticking to red.... ANY colour will do these days it seems! I never bought the 'Red excuse' anyway.... there was never any need for it... and if it IS so important that it's red, why don't they insist on red on EVERY shirt??

Maybe they can be talked into letting us have their Logo in NAVY on next season's home kit perhaps?

Reminds me of post-modernism, and 80s track suits worn by matching elderly couples.

I’m definitely getting one!
