Got to feel for wolves fans ( or any other bar woolwich or spam) paying stupid money for tickets, hours on a clogged up road network, fiver for a shit piece of food then after celebrating a goal being told it does not count as computer says no.

Var needs to go, it's causing more issues than what it's designed to stamp out

Until there is some tech in the ball that knows when it was kicked and cameras are so high speed and high quality we can clearly know when to stop it on a certain frame it's got no business making such high profile calls

Tbf bad frame you can tell he is offside there the issue will always be what frame to use because you can't tell with the current video tech when the ball is actually played.

Tech needs a lot of work before its trusted

The frame only really shows you the Wolves players' foot is ahead of the Liverpool players' foot. Then again, Alderweireld foot was a couple of yards ahead of Pukki and it was given, so its clearly not based on foot position.

They need to rethink the offside rule more than abolish VAR, in my view.
The 'any part of your body you can score with' really muddies the waters and should simply be the trunk of the player's bodies IMO.

As it stands, there's a huge element of pot luck on what part of your stride you're on in the frame whilst your body with the last defender is dead level - having a foot slightly forward won't give you an advantage running on goal.
