What you're saying in the context of the Moura incident makes sense. That was an utterly ridiculous call. Today's was a handball in my opinion though. They changed the handball rule from last season after the Moura incident. Now only handball like the Ings one from the other week will be called handball by an attacking player. Although to me the Havertz handball looked closer to the Ings one than the Moura one.
However, they fucked up the handball rule for defending teams. I still don't understand how they gave handball to Doherty one. Double deflection and the player was literally only half a yard away. That can only mean they're calling handball whenever the ball hits the hand (below the sleeves) of a defender. So by that logic, if a defender did the same thing Havertz did, he'd be penalised and a penalty would be given. That is ridiculously unfair for defenders.
And yet we had a perfectly legitimate equaliser ruled out against Sheffield United because of Lucas 'handballing' it while lying on the floor.
It's pretty clear NBC is pushing Chelsea as the "American team" to support because of Pulisic. You'll rarely hear them criticized on NBC.US feed was the same. Didn't even show the handball during the post match comments. Praising Franks's changes and tactics, teamwork, and spirit.

Ive never been comfortable when we go 2 or 3 goals up in a gameWest Brom will now doubt themselves everytime they go up 2 or 3 goals in a game.
Bad day, psychologically, for them.
We were very aware of him.Heck of a player. God bless America, etc.
Great Touchdown

Ridiculous flop and penalty decision just made in this one, yikesInter's line up tonight is shocking... D'Ambrosio, Kolarov & Bastoni back 3 with Perisic & Young as wing backs...
Eriksen invisible so far.
VAR makes the right decision this time!Ridiculous flop and penalty decision just made in this one, yikes
They keep changing it because halfway through a season, they realise they've made a huge fuckup with the rule.I don't see why they have to keep changing the rules every season, it's just confusing and makes the whole thing look bent as fuck
I’m not even going to dignify that with a response. That's not an answer... It's a very fair question. We won't be free scorers (Mou), goals will be shared with Sonny and Bale, incoming 3 month injury, etc etc.
