Anderson coming because Antonio is leaving.
Wilshere in to replace Lanzini
Fabianski replaces Adrian
Fredericks replaces Zabaleta

Is any of this progress really?

Forgot to mention this a couple of days ago. Sorry if it’s been mentioned. Don’t think it’s has.

Fiat workers are going on strike. Think it’s for two days today.
They are striking becuase of Juventus signing Ronaldo for- and paying him- all that €, why they are told to suck up austerity.
They can’t see how they have had to make sacrifice becuase of a lack of funds, whist FIAT majority owned Juve enrich one man.

On his day he can be great, just like Arnautovic, Shaqiri and then the ultimate show-pony Konoplyanka. The thing is they very rarely have their day. They are either not selected to be played, having a sulk, just not interested, may be just not that good after all. Yarmolenko was one of those players being pushed by his club and agent heavily 18 months ago, we were linked, which is what you do when you market a player across Europe. He's made just 18 appearances for Dortmund, 18!!!! If he was any good he would have played more, still be at Dortmund. His best game I bet was against us at Wembley when he scored what was a lovely goal despite it being fucking offside in the build up.

So, no doubt there will be a game where he plays very well, everyone will be drawn to this game like a month to a light bulb and then hang onto that until he has another good performance 10 or 15 games latter, forgetting all the average stuff in the games in-between. With these players just go a take a look at what their fans think of them. Stoke fans can't stand Shaqiri, they think he's one of the laziest players they have ever seen. Sevilla fans watched the Youtube clips on Konoplyanka, he scored a couple of gaols early on which put him in good steed but feel by the wayside and hardly seen again. I don't know what BVB fans think of this fella but seeing he's only made 18 appearances my guess there are no tears shed.
He was injured.
Only came back in April.
Apparently they were very pleased with him up until then.
Makes it even stranger they let him go after one incomplete season interrupted by injury after paying a hefty fee, for BvB.
The fee is undisclosed. But they would have made £8m pound top whack if they sold him for £30m.
Maybe the new manager didn’t like what he saw?

- all of the above are progress. At the end of the day they will still be going for 7th-12th but they may look better doing it and they would hope gives them a platform to improve. It will be very hard to do what we did and get into the top 4 (very hard to break the top 6) and to do this consistently needs a long term plan not a year of spunking 100M.

Have you seen their (newish) training ground? They are not a threat in the long term while the porn bros are in charge.

Late to the party - but another young English player has gone abroad.

Jonathan Panzo (17) has signed for Monaco from Chelsea for £2,000,000.

He has a good talent but is unhelpful. It is a loose cannon of the locker room. Lazio has had several quarrels: in 2017 with Hoedt (in training); in 2018 brawl in the after game with the coach Inzaghi. It has been two years since it has to be sold. Lotito (president) in 2016 refused a large sum from Manchester United (he wanted to raise the price), higher than today at West Ham.
