To be honest, if it wasn't Sonny who would it be though? To respect your captain like that says it all , Ange masterstroke making Sonny captain
I don't want to exaggerate just based on that first half but I reckon he might already be the best Senegal player of all time and that Senegal are winning the 2026 world cupHope he makes Senegal good again. African teams just can't find consistency even when they have great players.
akanji is probably simple balls to feet for the wide players. The real shocker up there is Akanji- never had any idea he had this side of his game in him. Crazy for a CB…
Sarr obviously impressing mightily to be included in that list.
Gallagher really would have been fantastic here.
Agree. Was hoping he'd struggle to get a game and we might pick him up when his contract ran down in a couple of years. Poch likes him though. Think he'll end up with a fat new deal before long.Gallagher really would have been fantastic here.

Would have meant less minutes for Sarr.
Sarr is better already and will only get better.
Next year if we have Europe then get Gallagher for depth maybe but he'd be expensive.
As Spurs fans, we would say that.
Sarrs minutes are going to get diminished as soon as Bentancur is fit anyway, if he's anywhere near as good as he was.
