We decided to postpone our visit,as his liquor isn't up to much.
Tina from the Coach had it and went back and gave him some advice. She told my mate.
So,rather than slate it,going to give the fella a bit of time to sort it out.

Good idea for a meet up there though.
Hi mate! I’m the owner of the Pie & Mash shop! Came across this chat which is great. Yes Tina from the Coach came in, she loved the pies but yes she did give us some good feed back on the Liquor which we have tried to take on board. It’s a difficult one as it seems every one has differing opinions on how the Liquor should be, some say thicker and greener and others say lighter and thinner lol, so it’s hard to know and as you can imagine difficult to please everyone.

essentially we are not a traditional Pie & Mash shop as I’m sure most of you have gathered from the menu but we are trying out best to keep an old institution alive as lots of Pie & Mash shops are dying out. Anyway if anyone has any questions please let me know. Thanks

Heard that the Pie & Mash shop in Tottenham is opening today.
Off work tomorrow,so will give it a go.Hopefully sunny as it will be take away.
It wasn't open when I got there, but looking forward to giving it a try when we are allowed back. Maybe we should have a TFC meet up there instead of the Dispensary :)

Tottenham 'Til I Pie !

Love pie and mash. Looks proper decent, funny how West Ham threw away their Pie and Mash shop with the Stratford move and we are now getting one. Benefit of staying within the community.

That generation didn't believe in waste! And you ate what you were given, or went hungry!
True story !
The truth is that most of that stuff that Nan cooked was pretty good if you didn't know what went into it !!
I cook ham hocks all the time & they are delicious. We have become a very delicate society that only wants the prime cuts. What is funny is that sausage, chicken nuggets & various meat pies are all made with the cuts that no-one wants to eat but everyone loves when it's not visible.

Just done the stadium tour, sky walk and edge drop, finished off in the Pie & Mash shop.
Cracking grub and a nice chap.
Never had liquor before so nothing to compare it to, but I loved it.

I can't say I don't like eels, as I've never tasted them, but I don't like the jelly and they don't look very appetising.
I even scrape that jelly stuff out of pork pies. I take the pork out, scrape the jelly off and put it back in again.

Yeah I know it’s borderline bonkers but that stuff is just weird and has no place in a pie.

Great post! Next time I actually get to WHL I may forego the heavenly delights of the Turkish Koyum and sample your fayre. Or maybe I should visit both establishments and not bother with the football :)

Any chance of a free pie for a good review?
