It seems that way doesnt it? Does make some of their other decisions a bit strange.Excellent news!
The Gov really has gone FUCK IT, now haven't they.
BoJo wanted to be like the mayor in Jaws. Well now he's telling people it's safe to go back into the sea.Excellent news!

I remember going to a game against stortford in 2006 preseason. 18 year old Lennon was incredible. Spoke to Lennon and Jenas after the game too! That’s a bit disappointing to be honest, I’d much rather our pre-season be against teams we don’t normally play. I would love to see us play smaller local teams rather than the Scum and the other Scum.
Some of my earliest football memories are pre-season friendliest against the likes of Bishops Stortford, Leyton Orient and Stevenage where it was a mix of first team and youth prospects. I’d love to see those types of matches again.
Got Chelsea away pre-season to be fair. Why dont they have naughty friendlies anymore ,so we can hone and get our fighting skills match fit?
Very amiss by the club imho...
Yeah,fair enough
Wouldn't happen in modern times unless it was in Dubai or something. But yep agreed, the days of Feyernoord or the Auld firm away are gone!

Wish the club did more of these games, even if it's with youth team or fringe players plus a couple of better players that need fitness!

B STORTFORD 1, SPURS XI 8
Aaron Lennon marked his return to action with a wonderful goal as our Spurs XI side toppled Bishop's Stortford 8-1 on Wednesday night.www.tottenhamhotspur.com
-It was only £1 entry too if I remember correctly!
This is just an awful reminder of how our squad has stagnated. 2 years ago these were all international squad members when you consider that you could replace Doherty with Trippier in the squad. These photos would have been of kids or players who were rehab'ing.
