IMO a number of players will have been designated as available for sale/loan and won't be used in pre-season (same as last season), I've highlighted a few in your post who may be excluded in bold red (but others may have their own views), cutting the number of available players down a little, and think a few more youngsters will be included in the squad (at least in the first few preseason games in July) - Lankshear, Abbot, Santiago, Dorrington, Kyerematen and Black being possibiities
Just noticed that Hearts are at home to Leyton Orient on the 13th July. Almost worth making a 'very' long weekend of it.
