Looks like we are playing Bayern twice this off season.
I guess that the Korean government/organiser paid big money for the game in Seoul.

They advertised the home game in August during the City game.Is that confirmed or is this one just going to count as the friendly agreed in the Kane deal?

Very pleased Leo Black is going. Has had an excellent season
So the team/squad is flying all the way to Australia just for a friendly match against Newcastle?
I was just wondering why they need to go so far around the world?Allows Ange to see some interesting youngsters playing with first team too.

It’s at the MCG, which seats over 100k. Tickets start from about 30 pounds and go up to about 350 pounds. Add merch and food and drinks and its some decent coinI was just wondering why they need to go so far around the world?
I reckon Ange will be taking the lads down to South Melbourne where he started. It will be part of his relationship building with the teamAnge wanted a long weekend at home ? !
Won't the food and drinks sold be profit for the stadium rather than the two teams? It’s at the MCG, which seats over 100k. Tickets start from about 30 pounds and go up to about 350 pounds. Add merch and food and drinks and its some decent coin

I wonder if Levy will go along like he did in South Korea last time?I'm sure that is correct, at least in part.
The stadium will want a rent for the game, but it may well be that if the stadium is full (ie lots of hungry and thirsty likely punters), the rent will be reduced or there's a clause giving a % of food and drink sales.
Equally with merchandise, the teams will probably get the lions share of revenue but Melbourne stadium will have a large shop which gets a % for displaying and selling the merchandise.
So everyone will make money.
No idea how it’s split, or what Newcastle will get out of it. The MCC (Melbourne Cricket Club), who run the MCG, will also want their cut.Won't the food and drinks sold be profit for the stadium rather than the two teams?
