Looking at this, I was wondering why Glenn Hoddle wasn't in it. I checked it out. He got injured in a league game in February, and didn't play another game that season.

What a glorious night. I was there on the Shelf with my dutch girlfriend. Never seen her since!
Also on the Shelf ; my mate lost his glasses after Robbo equalised ; understandable if you were there.
He never saw them ( his glasses) again ( either) .
Incredible night ; we should consider ourselves blessed to have been there to experience it IMO .

Yes, I remember it like it was yesterday, scary to think it was 40 years ago.
The reaction to Danny was instant, it was brilliant and us at our best.
Gives me goosebumps whenever I watch it.
On the Shelf too, right up at the front, in the corner of the ST enclosure, nearest the Park Lane.
Think it was the fact that we did it on our home turf (like 1972) and that won't ever be repeated.
Special memories that we will cherish forever.
