honestly man this medical team is a total joke. How many times can they get away with "oh sorry my bad it's worse then first thought" . Even with Richarlison how long did it take him to have an MRI in the first fucking place.
So fucking annoying how incompetent they seem to be.

They seem to wait around before acting, are they saving money. It’s odd, is there any medical people on this forum, if someone has an injury say a muscle pull do you wait weeks to check it and if so why?

It’s fucking infuriating how vague our medical teams seem to find these injuries. Better be just a couple of games.serious questions need to be asked.

I can suffer the vagueness and accept that recovery times can be fluid; but from the outside, certain things just seem sloppy.

It isn’t the first time Conte has called out our medical team.

I thought it was an area of the club paratici was meant to be assessing. He might want to move that up the to do list.

Think back to when Conte initially declined our advances..... One of the stories floating round was that he wanted to bring his own medical peeps with him.

Can't say I know if that happened or not when he eventually did agree to come, but surely it's a relatively tiny expense/transition compared to building a squad and hiring a manager.

.........If Fab has been tasked with improving that area of the club anyway then why not just pull the trigger on them from the off?

ok a week later but what's your point?

Brazil were knocked out on the 9th Dec, he returned to training on the 13th and had his scan on the 22nd Dec.

I would very much doubt your date of 22 Dec for a FIRST MRI scan as its routine to give players a scan asap after the sort of injury Bentancur seemed to suffer at WC, Might have been a 2nd one on 22nd ?

But club does not give that level of info - only source is Conte

I can accept that healing time is individual and no injury is the same. I can even relate based on my own athletic career.

But that every player that gets injured for Spurs ends up out for longer than initially expected as a rule now is just annoying.

Here's hoping nothing is too bad for Rodrigo.

I suspect THFC treat fans like parliament treat the public. IE, underestimate peoples basic understanding of a situation, under inform people, then wonder why so many questions are asked.

Likewise you can tell people too much as well. Too little info is as bad as too much.

I don't know if this is something he did at other clubs, but it seems Conte always picks the most optimistic return estimate.

He's said before that he wants to push the players/medical team to recover as quickly as possible. Doesn't seem to have worked well at Spurs.
