Bentancur's was a taped interview for a TV show/youtube series in Uruguay. A "how do celebrities live" show. So it was pre taped during the host's visit to London. But it aired in connection to the Copa.

Enzo's racism occurred during the Copa America so the issue is dealt with by FIFA/CONMEBOL.
As Bentancurs is being dealt with by the FA, they have the right to ban him domestically.
The question was why the FA is competent in one and not the other. Bentancur’s was on a Uruguayan tv show, no?

It's the likes of Leicester and others that are wanting to low block and counter against us where his performances come into question. Those are probably the games for Bissouma, but it's good we've got two players capable of playing a role who have two completely different skillsets.

The argument is that Bentancur's interview happened in his home in London during the active PL season (it was a pre tape). Whilst Enzo's scandal happened during the Copa America in the United States.
Do we know yet when the decision is being made?
