I love him, so elegant even when he goes into battles. Just a classy, classy player. Deserves to be better surrounded at Spurs and with Uruguay.
Also deserved to score yesterday, but he lacked a bit of composure after that superb run...can't really blame him. Would've been one of those special WC goals you'd watch with the same amazement in 20 years' time.
If Bissouma can fulfil his potential we have got some midfield there.

How I would love to sign Valverde. Incredible player, he can do it all. The guy is insanely clever, so astute tactically...there was a video doing the rounds recently, of him at Real and how Carlo uses him to disrupt the opposition's play whilst simultaneously putting him in dangerous positions for the other team's defence as soon as they win the ball back. Beautiful thing to watch.
As much as I love Pierre and believe in Biss & Skippy's potential, say we could get Valverde for 80 mil tomorrow and pair him up with Hot Rod, man where do I sign. Dude is so good he would also be a top RWB/RM/RW combo for us.

Rodders is a joy to watch. Honestly no matter how shit we are, I turn up to games just to watch him play. He makes it worth the effort of turning up.
He goes some way to justifying the ticket price. Starting to add more attacking threat to his game now. Need to get him on a long term deal now, similar to what Real did with Valverde. Let's price everyone out before they all come sniffing.
