Your missing the point. You can't get the manager sacked & I can't get the board sacked. We are powerless.
You keep asking me to tell you how I plan to do something I can't. Despite you not being able to do yours either.
Anyway. No point going around in circles!
You're the one missing the point. When the fuck did i say i can get the manager sacked?? I said the board can sack the manager (and they will do)

I'm saying anyone who says sack the board is wasting their time because they can't say how or when this can happen? Nobody can 'sack the board'. It can't happen so it's fucking pointless to say that's what we should do. Unless you can explain how it can be done.

Fair point, especially on their recruitment.

They are run on similar lines to us, i.e. self sustainable.
The difference is their recruitment is so much better, albeit on a bigger budget.
True. Very happy with our stadium, finance, corporate side etc. But the football side is the major problem. They seem to be getting worse at this.
One bad decision after another. Looks like we now have to pay off jose, & start all over again with a new manager who will probably want new players. Then he will need a season at least to mould the team. Yay!

LFC's board appointed Klopp.
LFC's board sanctioned world record fees for goalkeeper and defender for the specific players that their manager wanted, they didn't go back and say no, but we will give you a list of these much cheaper alternatives.
Who says our board goes back and say these are your options? We don’t know what goes on being closed doors but we know we are not a rich club.

Appointing Klopp did not take a good board. Anyone watching the sport or in the sport knew he was a top manager. Nobody knew he was this good but I’m sure they expected him to get them into the top 4 consistently.

Well just looking at the teams above us, Leicester and Liverpool both have better.

Leicester have good recruiters sure...

they've also sold Kante. Marhez, Maguire etc.

I'm sure our fans would love levy if he sold our best assets and gambled on guys like Fofana, Ndidi (who okay have worked but don't pretend people would still lose their nut and call us a selling club. Leicester had one season in the CL and fell away massively after they won the league.

Grass isn't always greener.

Funny cause Liverpool fans are complaining that they won't "SIGN A FU**ING CB" etc

maybe all boards are frugal with their money eh.
We both know city & Chelsea aren't as frugal.
Anyway, I am sure Liverpool fans are much happier than us even if they want a new CB. I am sure a CL & league title helps. All fans want new signings. I think you're deluded if you think our board has done a better job than Liverpools. But each to their own.

The board have shown that when they have the right managers in place we move forward as a club.

We've progressed all the way up the ladder from the sorry state we were in when they took over to within 90 minutes of the biggest prize in club football - whilst building a fucking stadium.

And had the timing of Poch & the stadium move worked out better then maybe we start picking up some trophies instead of falling apart.

Mourinho being another chump to slink away having failed here doesn't mean we wont find someone to progress us once again. And now we're in the stadium and able to spend a bit I'm sure the manager that slots in next will take that step up that Poch never quite managed

Jol>Redknapp>Poch>???

Mid table to best of the rest
BOTR to top 4
Top 4 to 2nd/CL runners up
???

Clear steps of improvement when the club and manager have been in sync...

Because you said how are you going to get the board sacked. So surely that has to apply to sack the manager too.
Or is it you don't need to be able to get the manager sacked but you do the board.

I'm not saying that, I'm say that all fans give out about their boards even United. etc

Liverpool have have an excellent manager - they've also signed Klavan and Ketia, Lovren etc

Levy's not perfect but people who think he's worse than Ashley and the likes are worse? Come on.

Selling Bale, Modric, Berbatov etc. must be a false memory I have then.

Of course a club of Leicester's means is going to have to sell their best assets when they get a top offer in, but they are back above us on half the turnover, they reinvest, don't take 100m profits.
They are without doubt performing better as a club based on their means than us, due to their board, policies and recruitment.

You basically said cannot include Chelsea and Man City because of their money power, but in effect our money power in relation to Leicester is the same as Chelsea/City to us.
You can't have it both ways.

Hang on the last one of those sales was 8 years ago. we've grown as a club under levy. Leicester were selling players after the won the league.

I'm not gonna say other boards are necessarily better but the shit Levy gets it's ridiculous. the place the club was in when he came vs where we are now is insane.

So you do think Liverpools board have done a better job?

What £100m profits did the board take ?

perhaps but our midfield and attack are fine, only our defence has issues in terms of player available. This is not equivalent to Poch during the 18 month barron spell. We bought Regulion, Bale, PEH, Doherty, Rodon, Vinnie, easily our best ever transfer window.
We bought reguillon yes and I think hd is quality, loaned bale and that's a good job too. Its a shame I hoped he still had it in him but clearly not.
Peh is average, a good squad player.
Doherty is 3rd rate and shouldn't be in ant Premier league squad imo...rodon is z good prospect, vinnie is also nowhere near good enough but he should still have been given more chances if only to prove he is nowhere near to being a 40 million pound player....we spent roughly 70 million which is for most big clubs 1 quality player.
E.g van dyke or fernandes or werner who will come good..to compete with clubs that buy exceptional players you too have to at least be in the market for some of these players and hopefully along the way unearth some bargains and some homegrown talent..

Levy has more or leas proven himself to be poor at footballing decisions over the past few years. The board are stupid for allowing it, but maybe they are even less equipped than Levy with footballing matters so it's better they did nothing- we don't really know, nor are they in a position to be forced out.

We really just have to hope they learn from their mistakes and figure out how to make better decisions.

I don't understand how pretty much everyone on this forum on deadline day last year can praise our dealings in the transfer market and the work we did - then when we don't play as hoped criticise the board.

We needed a defensive midfield - we did it and got a fantastic one at a great price.

We needed a left back - we got a very good one.

We needed a right back - we got one who hasn't lived up to what we hoped but fortunately Aurier has improved this season.

We needed back up up front - we signed Vinicius, again probably hasn't done what we'd hoped but we know how hard it is to get someone up front with Kane there.

Add to that we brought back arguably the best player we've had at this club this century (of course that hasn't gone as hoped) and Hart (Meh).

I don't see how you can blame the board for the players that don't work out, we know Mourinho actually approved pretty much all of these signings. And that's not to say we should be sacking Jose any time soon, two months ago we were top of the tree. We're going through a shit patch at the moment and isn't good to watch but we just need to keep everything in perspective a bit IMO.
