Interesting if it happens. Like Spurs and Woolwich legend Pat Jennings.

Don't ever compare that to big Pat.Interesting if it happens. Like Spurs and Woolwich legend Pat Jennings.
True he hasnt actually gone to Woolwich yet.Don't ever compare that to big Pat.
You know for all the hate on Serge. I urge you all to watch the highlights of the Ireland Portugal game go to 73 mins and watch Doherty vs Silva. He literally is the worse footballer I have seen for generations. In this play its like a bloke from the crowd got call on and he'd spent the day drinking. If we get an injury to this Royal or Tanganga we are soooo screwed.
Here we go 3.23
Wordly incoming, he’ll spurs usPlease sign him and play against us, he's be so fired up he'd give away fouls for free. And probably get sent off.
Detrimental to the club if anything, aside from his own calamitous contribution his presence completely killed off KWP's potential career here.
Will never understand why we decided to blow £24m on this guy when we could've just gone with Trippier and KWP for the season.
I'd wager it was solely done to appear to be replacing Walker, and avoid being labelled cheap.
Trippier was seriously poor in his last seasons to be fair.1 in 4 is generous IMO, some will still tell you he's a better player than Trippier.
I know, but it just goes to show that shiny new expensive things aren't always all that.Hahaha..... Imagine the riots if we'd have sold Walker and replaced him with no-one.
- Poch chose Serge > Perera.
- Poch cold shouldered Trippier out of the squad the following year.
- Poch refused to loan KWP and then made him 3rd choice behind Serge & Foyth.... We ended up playing Sanchez at RB in a NLD..... Arguably rendering him KWP 4th choice
.......Then Jose chose Doherty and binned KWP off to S'ton.
It's taken 4 years+ of fuck ups to get to where we are now.
Let's all pray to Buddha that Emerson thrives.

I know it's easy with hindsight but we'd have been no worse off just utilising KWP and the £24m could have been spent elsewhere, so possibly even much better off.

Whenever I see him these days I think, "Hmm - he's quite a good right back. We ought to sign him."The amount of work he was expected to put in under Pochettino's system was obscene and often overlooked by the people who scapegoated him like fuck IMO.
Completely agree - he could hardly run, obviously wasn’t training as his touch was shit too. Fair play for playing through it but yeah, he should have been taken out of the firing linrIt was only in his last season he was really poor to be fair and he admitted that he'd spent most of it playing with an injury.
It's really frustrating to me that we kept playing him despite the injury and poor performances as we should have dropped him and focused on getting him fit.
I think he was a better fit for us and a better player than Aurier so I wasn't happy when he was sold.
Not the case he made up a phantom injury to explain loss of form? Don’t remember any surgery? And didn’t he hit the ground running at am?Completely agree - he could hardly run, obviously wasn’t training as his touch was shit too. Whilst I agree I don’t follow that it’s night and day …. Where this offers similitude to Campbell is the divesting us of any chance of obtaining a fee whilst signing for themHow is it worse? We were desperate to keep Campbell but we couldn’t show Aurier the door fast enough. Campbell promised to stay, Aurier asked to leave. The cases are night and day as far as I can see.
He got a groin injury during the World Cup …. Played through it , came back to us with no time off whilst continuing to play through and as result his form suffered noticeablyIt was only in his last season he was really poor to be fair and he admitted that he'd spent most of it playing with an injury.

Apparently he's going to Villareal. A good move for him but he's coming to take Foyth's job lol.
And they all live on a yellow submarine. A yellow submarine. It's a North London takeover, that's three ex-Spurs players and an ex-Woolwich coach...
