He started in DM against Burnley LAST season too and played relatively well.
He started against Leicester last season in a 3-1 win, where he set up the Eriksen goal but for some strange Poch reasons, Winks was started a bit more deeper than he was.
Playing Lucas ahead of Lamela these days is absolutely criminal. It’s not even close on any level outside of some pace. And while I love Sissoko he serves zero purpose in the MF vs a team sitting back. He’s plods all the ball and looks so out of place. How on earth does Jose not see this ??
No way, at least we got something out of those two.
Time to give him an extended run in the team, build for next season. We have nothing to lose.

Starting Bergwijn at CAM was a waste. Would have been much better on either wing. He's shown a lot as a winger/forward but not much as a playmaker, which is something we really need against bus parkers.
Dele despite his crap performances lately should have started at CAM to help against their size. He's a playmaker too and could have contributed some defense-splitting passes.

I see your point to extent but spurs were some proper shit today via the attack. Absolutely no creativity and the final ball was always doomed to fail. And the few chances SU created today, they banged home 3 goals. Unacceptable spurs performance across The board. Don’t lose sight of that either.
