He used to play DM for the youth and he plays there for England youth. He's mostly played there for us when he's started too.
I mainly recall him being a general busy body closing out games tbh.... That and the pre-lockdown Burnley horror show.

No way, at least we got something out of those two.West Ham and ManU last week?
Time to give him an extended run in the team, build for next season. We have nothing to lose.He used to play DM for the youth and he plays there for England youth. He's mostly played there for us when he's started too.
He started in DM against Burnley LAST season too and played relatively well.
He started against Leicester last season in a 3-1 win, where he set up the Eriksen goal but for some strange Poch reasons, Winks was started a bit more deeper than he was.
The one where Poch raged at Dean?
Better memory than me mate! LOL

Lamela is poor manPlaying Lucas ahead of Lamela these days is absolutely criminal. It’s not even close on any level outside of some pace. And while I love Sissoko he serves zero purpose in the MF vs a team sitting back. He’s plods all the ball and looks so out of place. How on earth does Jose not see this ??
I don't know how many times you have posted this. Quite a few. I agree. But you're wasting your breath. How can a team with players like Kane, Son, Bergwijn and all the quality players we have look so terrible? We lack ideas, we are slow and predictable and like we're playing with no effort whatsoever.
Levy and ENIC have ruined this club, it will always be profit over success, always, they have built their entertainment venue to make themselves a tidy little profit on concerts and the NFL and have fucked the footballing side of the club to oblivion, is it any wonder most of us are sick of them?
Bruno Fernandes is a prime example of a player we could have had but money overrided a football decision and look how that panned out.
Lamela’s ball set up the only goal today. And his lovely one-two vs West ham set up spurs only goal as well. How is Lamela “poor” when he’s been one of spurs best players since the restart ?Lamela is poor man
And Swanky RamosYou’re forgetting ‘man of the people’ Gross and his tube ticket
And also a right back up ?
I see your point to extent but spurs were some proper shit today via the attack. Absolutely no creativity and the final ball was always doomed to fail. And the few chances SU created today, they banged home 3 goals. Unacceptable spurs performance across The board. Don’t lose sight of that either.Sounds like so many so-called Tottenham fans only blame the team when Spurs are cheated EVERY match. When Chelsea & Woolwich get a "force field" around them and create non-fouls (dives) which all the refs give them, Spurs are given the exact opposite.
It's a shame the fans don't stand up fopr their club and condemn this conspiracy to destroy a fantastic club and a proven great manager. He cannot work miracles against the whole corrupt FA.

That's how VAR is. Total momentum killer. Even in an empty stadium. As much as we were poor, if that goal counts it’s a completely different game. We would have had the momentum. Instead it swung Sheff Utd’s way.
