Surprised to see Mason start, and even more surprised that Dembele and Stambouli aren't picked for this gameTHFC team: Lloris, Naughton, Kaboul (c), Vertonghen, Rose; Capoue, Mason; Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela; Adebayor - spurs.to/ArsenalMC #COYS
#THFC subs: Vorm, Dier, Fazio, Bentaleb, Lennon, Townsend, Soldado #COYS
And Adebayor starts. *sigh* Cannot see the logic in that. Very glad to see Mason getting his chance, and think the defence is probably the right choices.
True, though that says a lot about the form of our strikers.Ade is our best striker at the moment
Our center backs are solid (going off past couple of games form) and both Rose and Naughton have been in good form so that's a positive too. If none of our defenders have your average Spurs mind fart we should be alright at the back.
Midfield is where it gets interesting though... Mason is getting thrown in at the deep end, lets hope he can produce!
Based on what, exactly? He's not scoring, he gets in the way of Eriksen in midfield and he's constantly out of position when Eriksen or Lamela are looking for a runner going into the box. I really can't see it. Kane's looked the best option in the last 5 games, I really think he should have started.Ade is our best striker at the moment

EDIT
Nice to see the positivity our defense has instilled in our fans :lamelashock:EDIT
Not this year he hasn't. Nor over his career. The issue is what works NOW. Ade doesn't.Based on hes scored the most goals
