That 45 mins bloody hell. Said it before but they all look completely unfit, pub side unfit. Southampton players just walking past ours. Hugo gets a pass, the rest woeful.
They have looked unfit all season. Very slow by comparison to most teams. That's bewildering. Even the fact that most of them can't pass from a to b shouldn't prevent fitness.

MF has taken an invisibility pill. Not sure who to take off to put Vini on as a big ‘lump’ up front for Bale + 1other to fire crosses at.

Reggie not good.

Dier and Toby at least are trying. Lucas and Son??? I think without Kane everyone knows there’s no real goal threat so just hang out on the pitch for 90 minutes.

Could turn out to be. He was excellent for Sevilla in their Europa run last year. All over the place defensively the last 6/7 games and offering little going forward though.
So did Diego Carlos and he's been a calamity this year

Sevilla's just one of those teams where their systems make certain players look way better than they actually are.

He's ok offensively because he is pretty quick and agile but his attitude just stinks. So weak and no idea what's around him in defence.

THE PROBLEM IS our MDs who can't keep the possession of the ball and build up.
That's why Kane had to play a MD role in the past games...
We need new center MDs who actually can make key passes.. Ndombele isn't the one.. he is a dribbler
not a passer

Southampton deserve the lead.

Big difference between the two sides is Ings and Adam’s are causing us problems, there movement has been great, PEH I feel is too deep, there’s a big hole in front of CB’s, we have to stop the ball to these two.

Southampton’s back 4 is also 15yrds further up the pitch, it compresses the play, means they have more bodies closer together and can move the ball to each other, plus get to a 2nd ball quicker.
