I'd have taken a draw , horrible game though very sloppy and pedestrian from both teams , Njie was especially woeful.

Can't see much reason for complaint. Again let down in front of goal but we were the better team in a game that was really hard fought in the middle.

disappointed. that was a weakened liverpool side. we still have issues creatively that need to be addressed.

- Too many bad touches in final third
- Too few runs behind the defence in final third
- Not enough erratic "change of pattern" moves in final third
- and just too poor and heavy finishes

I think we will want Mason making those runs from deep into the box. Neither Dier nor Dembele gives us that.

Worst performance of the season. Squad deficiencies starting to show. Liverpool won't be that bad again this season. Really not sure at the moment what kind of team we are meant to be. Counter attacking, high pressing? Fuck knows but losing one player shouldn't have that much impact (2 maybe given Son is out as well). More confused that ever.
