Originally seen this when someone compared to Andy Carroll at Liverpool. Has been posted many a time...

Sign the fucking horse. Sign someone.

Fucking yas the Sun! My most anticipated potential transfer is without a doubt Berahino, I think we could have something really special with him and Kane pushing each other to play at their best. The lad is a class act.

Come to this thread after three days, see something about some Colombian kid.

Totally confused, I google "Tottenham Colombian".

In unrelated news, pm me if you want carlito's number.

So SSN are also reporting this ... Could it be?
And 16 mil isn't too bad ... for someone with PL experience, let alone with Poch.

(Still highly doubt it would happen, though.)

Charlie Austin has accused David Sullivan of an “outrageous slur” after West Ham United’s co-chairman cast doubt on his fitness.

Austin issued an angry response to Sullivan’s comments on Twitter and has also been defended by Les Ferdinand, Queens Park Rangers’ director of football.

Speaking on a West Ham podcast, Sullivan claimed Austin had no ligaments in his knee and said his club would not be meeting QPR’s £15 million valuation because of the England international’s injury record.
West Ham are keen to sign another striker before the transfer window closes after injuries to Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia and Sullivan was asked if the club had considered signing Austin.

He said on the KUMB (Knees Up Mother Brown) podcast: “Firstly, we haven’t got £15 million to spend under the Fair Play rules.

“Secondly, he failed a medical at Hull a couple of years ago. They say he has no ligaments in his knee, who knows? To sign a player for £15 million is a big risk. He could go on for years, but knowing our luck his knee will go in his first game and that’s the end of it.”

Sullivan’s comments drew a withering statement from Austin, 26, who scored in QPR’s 3-2 win at Wolves on Wednesday night and insisted he was fully fit.

He wrote: “I feel I have no option but to address the inaccurate, misleading and uninformed innuendo about my physical condition that has been raised today by an individual who is not privy to my personal health history.
“It is one of a number of inaccurate reports about my so-called injury problems which have been made over the summer.

“For the record, there is nothing wrong with my ‘ligaments’, as has been suggested. My strength and performance in pre-season has been excellent and with two goals in my last two games I don’t think there is any doubt that my match sharpness is as good as ever.
“I scored 18 goals in the Premier League last season, which would not be possible were I feeling discomfort or pain.

“Like many professional footballers, I have the legacy of injuries picked up over my career but the effect on my day-to-day training and on matchday is non-existent.

“For a senior figure at a Premier League club to insinuate that I could break down at any moment is an outrageous slur on my professionalism and the work that has gone into making me the footballer than I am today. I am fit, strong and looking forward to Saturday’s home game against Rotherham.”

Ferdinand also said Austin’s fitness “has never been an issue”.
Austin’s future at Loftus Road remains uncertain, however, with clubs including Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion monitoring his situation before the window closes on September 1.

We are both assuming so your theory is just as "probably incorrect" as mine. Oh well.
My assumption is based on how these things actually work, here with me in the real world of multiparty negotiations. Your "summit talks" assumption isn't based on very much of anything outside of your head. So our assumptions are not entitled to equal weight.

We used to get excited about buying quality internationals. Now we buy under 21's and constantly try to raid the mighty Southampton of their players and people are in raptures.

Thats why.
Is Alderweireld not a quality international?
