Another summer window to build on from position of strength looking more and more like another missed opportunity.
Wonder what Poch's thinking after all his comments about being decisive, getting our business done early and learning from the mistakes of last summer.
Would love to be a fly on the wall at his next showdown with Levy.

Give him shit, Poch.

Hahaha an opinion piece on HITC Jesus mate, my friend has an 8yr old who's written and had articles on there!!!

Poch would have liked to have got in a new signing in so that they can have a pre-season, just as all managers do. Pre-season hasn't started yet has it? We may or may not get a player in for this time frame, it depend who we are after and who else is also after that target.

But please fuck off with this deluded notion of fucking showdown talks, the pair of them are and have always been on the same page. The pair of them have a close relationship both on and off the pitch if you haven't seen this then you've been under a rock for the past 4yrs.

This doesn't even factor in that we might even have deals done already. Just choosing not to unveil them.

I know it is unlikely but it could be the case since it is a world cup year that we will wait to announce signings until after the cup

Also, what about Eriksen's contract? Vertonghen, Dele etc etc. That should be the bare minimum to expect, that we keep hold of our players

This summer was a good example. We signed good players but it was so late and with no pre season you pay
Mauricio Pochettino

The most important thing is to identify our targets and on July 3 when we start pre season they are here!
Mauricio Pochettino

Poch's words, from Poch's mouth, and his fucking lips were moving as they tumbled out. I can post the link or find more quotes if you like.

The fact is, despite last summers shambles where we struggled to strengthen before the actual season, let alone pre season started , Poch fought against all the odds and somehow managed to drag us over the finishing line yet again for CL qualification.

He's made it abundantly clear since he expects stronger, more decisive backing this time around.

The fact it has so far failed to materialise is a cause of concern and definately a debating point among our supporters, surely
