Surely our policy would have to change with Poch putting a lot of emphasis on us taking risks. Anyway, it's obvious that our old transfer policy isn't going to make us title challengers

We are challenging though.....we are constantly finishing above clubs who spend more and are considered challengers themselves.

City spent 800M to finish above us once in three seasons.
And our policy has changed in the sense we have just paid the manager and Kane record wages....Dele and Eriksen next.

The key to this is to embrace it. We just promoted a young forward from the academy. Why shouldn’t we dream of another Kane story? Why should we dream about Martial?

We were never in the race with Leicester - Sky made you believe that - same with Utd this year when City lost 2 on the trot. Utd were NEVER challengers after November
As I said that's Semantics. We were the last club left in the race, ergo that makes us in the race. How realistic it was to winning that race was can be debated until the cows come home.

What young forward have we promoted? We finished 23 points below City last season, that's not a challenge. The season before we were always playing catch-up to Chelsea. Right now we stand to fall even further behind
