Happy not to dwell on it, but as I said, the manager had his go to guys regardless of who we signed, and they were the guys that let us down ultimately, not Sissoko or Winks or Trippier

They were his goto guys because, unlike Liverpool, those behind them were not of similar quality. Poch never got a Thiago, Jota, or Kabak for any position nor cherry on top quality like VVD and Allison. The most important piece of our puzzle was bruised, battered and broken down from the day we got him from Fulham yet he never had a backup. Only one man to look at about that. Oh, and we still don't have another striker.

We took a £175m Bank of England loan on in June, but since the season was finished and this year we’ll still receive the full TV money we’re in a much better financial situation than expected.
