I wouldn't be surprised if we sign both Summerville and Savinho
That would be incredibly underwhelming.

It's an ok start (still not confirmed yet).Is a good start. But nothing to move the needle. Senesi, Robbo
Yes they are taken per 90 but if you are playing competitively more regularly then you find rhythm and shake the rust off. Playing here or there for late sub appearances etc is very difficult especially for young players.
I hope we sign him, think he will be great at spurs under RDZ. I think he has the attributes to be world class potential and if he played in France or Spain or somewhere he'd be getting rave reviews with more people wanting him
We can agree to disagree
Probably with a bit of dept cover for Maddison as well baked in.He's the Kulusevski replacement in my opinion. Their style of play is quite similar as well.
You mean May 29th?....
Why do you think Savinho isn't playing more regularly, there's a big clue that tells you everything about his ability and where he is right now.
The thing is with him he was getting rave reviews when he played for Girona because he did well in Spain, but he's been brutally exposed in the Premier League and even playing for a team like City who are always on the front foot he can't get going.
I'd only bring him in if we were paying £25m max and on the condition we'd bring someone else in as well (Summerville) the only upside is that he has a unique profile and can hug the touchline, means that we can play with inverted full backs, someone like Djed would thrive playing with him because he'd create a load of space.
Gallagher won't be sold, is a favorite of De Zerbi and over the last three games has played as well as at any time at Cheslea.
He won't cause any "issues" aside from what the conspiracy theorists in here rant on about.
I think you might be overthinking it a bit.
If we view Gallagher as a guaranteed starter then, yes, there's a potential issue there as you describe
But as a squad player I think he's absolutely fine. Can cover at 10 and 8 when we need him. Can come off the bench to provide energy, can start as a super aggressive pressing 10 in games where that's a tactical solution.
He's a useful player to have in the squad and, while that's a lot of salary to spend on a squad player and certainly not the wisest allocation of funds, I think he will always have his uses and won't be a burden unless he starts demanding to start every week.
Relative to other big clubs we don't have many players on massive wages, so we can probably afford to overpay a couple of players. We do need to be careful not to get carried away with wages like United did, though.
City brought him in from girona then completely ripped up how he plays from the left as an expressive and unpredictable player and pep moves him to the right and restricts his game with his type of football.
Pep rarely plays with proper wingers. Foden, cherki, Silva.
We would use him high and wide, isolate his fullback and he would beat him 1v1 which is where he excels and deliver.
We can all have our opinions and time will tell. I can understand when people looks at stats that its not great but then again our own Gareth Bale had terrible stats until he was moved to his best position on the left wing and he lit up the world and took off.

Whichever way you cut it this summer is a compromise in terms of dof/player tradingThat's probably the best explanation actually, especially if the club feel like it might take a few months to get the new DoF in the door. We've seen in the past how those deals can take time with guys needing to give notice or whatever.
We should've really been lining someone up well in advance. I suppose we did with Kehl but that's gone suspiciously quiet. Maybe second thoughts over that deal since De Zerbi's arrived? And it's gonna take a while to line up an alternative?
Cannot see why people are happy with this. 29 year old with only 3 caps and not in Argentina WC squad. Whilst at the same time happy to let go Romero, younger, more caps & much better player.
Not a direct replacement, that will be Vuskovic or if we loan him again possibly Van Hecke. Senesi is a better left sided cover than Dragusin struggling on the wrong side or Ben Davies. It also allows us to move VDV to left back sometimes. Romero just misses too many games and carries too much baggage.Cannot see why people are happy with this. 29 year old with only 3 caps and not in Argentina WC squad. Danso will be our starting CB with VDV I reckon with Senesi used heavily in rotation. Or vice versa. Romero is a massive liability and he’s not captain material. There’s more to football then their skills with the ball and I think his time has past at Spurs. I also think Danso is a better defenderCannot see why people are happy with this. 29 year old with only 3 caps and not in Argentina WC squad.
