Yanited's midfield is a sieve.Could only really see him as a casimerio understudy if they sell the Scottish guy whose name escapes me. But would be a bit of a underwhelming signing for them
Exactly ! Don’t see the need to splunk £50M on a wide forward who has limited ability. Just don’t get it. Why not wait Gil to get fit, buy Orban and keep our powder dry. Wait for eze ot Toney in Jan. also rather than soend £50M on Johnson pay a bit more and get gonckaves who twice / three times the player ability wise than Johnson. If we have to free up a midfield spot then move on either gio or PEH. This guy is the real deal. Let’s see what happens with all these players we have shown no interest in like kudus Scott, gonckaves, Orban as it seems we are not going for now, tabsoban, etc.Poste saying you don't need 50-100 million to find great players, and talking about Mitoma as an example, so I'm disappointed that our world-wide search for talent has ended on Brennan Johnson.
Surely there are better options out there? And if not (this late in the window), maybe it's better to keep our powder dry. Give Gil the 2nd RW spot.
Is t there a player in France young kid who’s a great dribbler? Can’t remember his name.I think Brennan Johnson would be a good signing.
In terms of what he offers, he'd be good competition on the right wing and can play in other positions.
The homegrown issue must be another reason we are keen on him.
Yanited's midfield is a sieve.
Casemiro can't cut it as the sole DM anymore, Bruno is too busy pouting, and Mount runs around doing SFA.
ETH doesn't think McTominay is good enough in possession to play CM for yanited. Having coached PEH, he must think he's better on the ball than both of McFred (the latter already flogged).
If PEH signs for yanited, he starts most weeks.
The buy back clause can only be activated if the player agrees to join them. Man City have sold several player - like Lavia & Porro - with buy back clauses without buying them back. They want to sell him but insert a buy back clause. Stay well clear.
Most of us haven't, myself included, yet that doesn't stop quite a few on here thinking they know better.Bowen’s just alright. Wouldn’t even have him in the England squad. He’s better than most RW’s in the league ( he hit 12 goals 10 assists without pens once) but I wouldn’t want to pay a big fee. Better than Kulu for sure to me but not a 80-90m player or whatever.
I dunno about Johnson. He’s really quick but never seen much more there. Scouts know more and if it’s genuinely true the manager wants him then sure, back the guy. I haven’t seen enough of Forest or watched Johnson specifically enough to be that informed.
Bit rich for their blood I guess, I hope they didn't drive up the price too much.
Does "establishing the mechanics" come before the monitoring or after?
Fick that just get Orban for £25. It dues t make sense to Siena that much on him. Is he gonna start? We have Gil to come back. Surely fir that price just get eze or a proper goal scoring CF.
I've already said why not.
Both inconsistent and overrated. Hope we go nowhere near.
But losing Sanchez and keepin dier as number one CB reserve is frightening£30m + Sanchez + £10m basic uplifts for Johnson.
Seems a deal to be done.
Dier won't be back-up regardless. But losing Sanchez and keepin dier as number one CB reserve is frightening
You mean we are in the league as Brentford fir players. Not competing with dippers, chavs, citeh, manure, toon, goonsMakes me feel a little better that Brentford are willing to splash the cash on him too.
