Huge cost, and neither have done anything much in last year, so glad we dodged the 2 bullets as depth.

Odobert could be great or he could be another random punt that were forlornly attempting to flog to anyone that will pick up the phone. Gray should be great, but he’s a young lad. Our short term success is pretty much entirely based on whether or not Solanke hits his straps.
This was categorically not a window where we pushed for immediate success so I don’t want to hear any of that ‘I just want to win’ bollocks. We reduced our wage bill. That was the goal.
Hopefully injuries don’t screw us.

Going on Odobert's debut, I'd take him over Sterling or Sancho.
Sterling is 29, will never improve and can't get in the Chelsea or England side.
Sancho is the player who already appears to be a legend. In his own mind, and Ange doesn't want either him or Sterling whining like banshees and upsetting the squad.

Sterling doesn't really have a bad attitude. Chelsea really treated him abominably.
