Obviously
End of the day, it was a signing that we publicly wanted but didn’t get done. Why wild the link even come out if we hadn’t sussed out his interest via his agent first.
Deep down, most of us know that Conte wanted toys the club wasn’t willing to buy.
I shouldn’t believe everything you read in the press! We were bidding for players at that time, so money was there - we just didn’t get them signed which suggests you are wrong
If Angelos want him I am not against signing him and he looks to be a bright talent but Djed Spence is a proof that the EPL & the Championship are, yes, leagues apart.
Besides, Gray's future is as a CDM, where he's hardly played in the Championship.

Leeds willing to negotiate with Spurs over Gray
Leeds Utd journalist Conor McGilligan has intimated that Leeds are willing to sit down and negotiate with Spurs regarding the sale of Archie Gray, but only if they are willing to participate in a swap deal, and it's not Joe Rodon! According to the Leeds Live reporter, Daniel Farke is an admirer of versatile midfielder Oliver Skipp, who was largely a squad player last season, starting just five games. The 23yo operates as a defensive midfielder, and is known for his ability to break up play and win the ball, similar to Ilia Gruev, who Leeds have already rejected offers for over the past several weeks.
Spurs value Skipp at around £15m, which should mean Leeds should come out of the deal at least £20m richer. He came through the Spurs academy, and represented England at U16, U17, U18 and U21 level. Last season was supposed to be his breakthrough season, but it never materialised! Leeds are of the mindset that they want sell players before splashing out too much this Summer, but the lack of firm interest (so far) in Willy Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville may force Leeds to part with their 18yo prodigy.
According to McGilligan, Leeds have perhaps lost some interest in Rodon due to his £12m - £15m price tag, and Premier League attention from the three promoted clubs from the Championship last season.
Except Perisic, Porro, Richarlison, Bissouma?
*Farke off!40m?
Fuck off.
We will have Archie Gray instead thanks
We get 20m Euro for Royal and this one is 40m Euro. So what Royal sold and £16m, is this guy good?
For once we don't have to worry about him assaulting a Spurs player.Think England will beat Denmark but I bet hojbjerg looks better than the majority of this lot on the night

No, but the usual suspects (who have never seen him play) like the sound of £40m more than £20m.We get 20m Euro for Royal and this one is 40m Euro. So what Royal sold and £16m, is this guy good?
I thought we’d need him to stay at the club so he could be considered club trained? That 'what lies beneath' "itk" on SC mentioned about the possibility of sending Bergvall on loan to Palace for a season to help with signing Eze.
Of course I'm sure it's bullshit but as a hypothetical scenario, I think that would be excellent business.
