Mackems 7-1 for tomorrow while we're 4-11

3-1 win with Defoe scoring but Harry getting a brace and Alli adding another!

Good to see that Kane has recovered from the career threatening injury that kept him out of the Wycombe game. Just like the back injury he had when we played in Europa last season.:pocheyes:

Think Dier needs to be rested tonight but that would be the only one rested with a back 4 including Wimmer & Toby and Wanyama back it allows 1 more creative player.

In my misty-eyed mind, we are winning comfortably, we head towards the 89th minute.... Defoe scores (a consolation) and the away end goes wild with celebration... "You're Spurs... and you know you are..." etc.
Defoe gives a wink, and a wry smile.
He knows... WE know... Game over.

As it is, the 89th minute Defoe goal will turn out to be the winner, and we have to console ourselves that at LEAST he didn't celebrate!!

So ... which ending is it to be???
